Bandon Dunes Golf Club

We played Bandon Preserve and enjoyed our round. There's some good coastal views that are nice. My home course was Monarch Dunes in Pismo Beach California so I definitely enjoy coastal links style courses. However Bandon is in pretty rough shape for the price they charge. The tee boxes are chewed up and not level, the fairways are littered with weeds, crab grass and dead areas, and the greens have purple patches all over the greens with large dead sections all around the outside of all the greens. $125 is WAY too much to charge for a par 3 especially when the conditions are what we saw. $50 -…

Not even sure where to start other than this place is essentially Disneyland for adults. The golfing is incredible, the food is incredible, the lodging is incredible, etc. We went in January and had absolutely great weather. The best part is once you are on site, you can take shuttles to anywhere you need to go. If I was rich, I would be here annually, no question!

One of a kind golf experience. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, helpful and willing to make the experience special. This was a bucket list trip and I hope to tick this off of each iteration of my bucket list. If you don’t make a trip to Bandon Dunes you are MISSING OUT!

Annie, one of the managers at the restaurant at trails was so helpful getting me some acid reflux pills when my stomach was disagreeing with me. She went to another lodge and refused to take any form of tip. This is what kind of staff they have here. Top notch very well run, and the gold is amazing too.

I've been an avid golfer my entire life. People say this is a bucket list location. They're right! It was honestly mind blowing! The amenities, the Golf Course, the practice facility, the food,& it goes on and on!

To quote Field of Dreams: "is this heaven? No it's Oregon". If you're passionate about golf in the USA, Bandon is Graceland. The courses, the elements, the service, the atmosphere. Everything is set up to basically golf until your hands and feet fall off. If you get the chance to go, do it.

How this place is labeled a 3 star property is beyond me. Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is easily a 5 star experience. Everything is spotless, the rooms are modern, and the restaurants are unreal. What a gem of a place.

I'm slow on this review. 8 of us were there in August 2025. Everything was amazing, as long as you worry about the cost when you get home. Bucket list course, so that's the only way to do it. My recommendations: Stay: Round Lake cabins were fantastic and they managed to get our 4 rooms side by side which was great. Request a ground floor room then your crew can hang out on the grass between rounds. The staff makes this place special. The golf makes this place special. The caddies make this place special. From my first call in, to the BLT made at sheep ranch when we left. Every touch point was thoughtful and full of appreciation and joy.

Brunch at Pacific Dunes was yummy! So many choices! Helper in the Pro Shop was a delight and she pointed out the 50% rack... always nice to find a deal. Beautiful day!

Even if you're not a golfer, you can enjoy some wonderful hiking trails and views on the property. If you are a golfer, bring the clubs (of course)! What an absolute gem! Multiple courses, restaurants, snack shops, and gift stores. I didn't get to play, amd it hurt. I'll be back as soon as I can with the clubs :)
