I have never felt more welcomed at a private club. The staff welcomed me and treated me like a member as did members of the club. The Golf course is a great design and a good challenge that is in excellent condition. If I lived in the area I would join the club. I would play here again in a heartbeat if I was ever invited again.

Most golf scholars will tell you that the years between the creation of the National Golf Links of America on Long Island in 1911 ushered in the "Golden Age" of golf course architecture. Several golf course architects focused on “strategic course design,” making courses more fun and less punishing. The likes of Charles Blair MacDonald, Alister MacKenzie, Donald Ross, A.W. Tillinghast, and Seth Raynor continue to influence golf course architecture to this day. One of those who was seemingly forgotten was Perry Maxwell. Maxwell, along with his partner Alister MacKenzie, designed Augusta Nationa…

We came here for a wedding. The view was spectacular over the water especially at night on that little pier. Bathrooms were clean. The food was good. You can definitely impress your guests if you rent this place out.

Hugh Britt taught me the basics of golf along with any sixth grader and those early lessons gave me a later opportunity to win a trophy in the North Louisiana Golf Tournament 1954. I also taught me father Orrie White Sr. to play and he and I played many on his 80th birthday when he carded an 80 and of course beat me 😊Rev. Dr. Terry White (now 84)

Went to Bayou Desiard for a skin care show from Hopkins Dermatology. The country club was the perfect venue with several vendors offering free skin care advice and some free samples. Country club personnel were very helpful guiding visitors to their destination.

Had a company gathering on the pool lawn and patio and large room. GREAT FOOD and bar service. Excellent choice for a gathering. Lots of room, seating. Outdoors had heaters. It was a cold rainy night but we were very comfortable.

Great course! I got to play here for a scramble and the course was great. Club house is amazing with all the amenities you can ask for. Complex features an 18 hole course, driving range, putting green, tennis courts and so much more. I would recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure if this is a 100% private course or not but it is worth looking into.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped and mature. Our party room was spacious and had ample tables and chairs to accommodate all of the guests. Nicely done!

The nicest clay courts in Monroe BY FAR!! Wilson Campbell does an outstanding job keeping everything in top condition. I used to think bad bounces were standard play on clay until playing here. Wilson may be gone, but the clay courts are still the best in town. Update. Clay courts still the best in town BY FAR!! Still @1 in Monroe Update: 12/24. Clay courts are not as good as they used to be. Clay is holding a few wet spots a lot of the time making them dangerous to play on. Lines are not great like they used to be. Bad bounces abound when the ball hits close to the lines now. Either just roll…
