In summary

Beaver Dam Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds, challenging course layout, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic setting and additional amenities such as the RV resort. However, some guests have expressed concerns about management professionalism, communication issues, and a lack of amenities beyond golfing, which may impact the overall experience for non-golfers.

We stayed at the Beaver Dam Golf and RV Resort campground on our way to Alaska from the U.S., and it turned out to be a real highlight of the trip. The staff at both the golf course and campground were incredibly friendly (special shoutout to Annie) and went well beyond expectations with their service. The campground is clean and well-maintained, with nicely spaced sites (we were in 200) that gave us plenty of room to relax. There's also a laundry facility and propane fills available, which made things super convenient. The golf course was in great shape and a lot of fun to play. We also fel…

It is such a beautiful, well-kept grounds and course. The flowers are so gorgeous that they make everything even more beautiful. The RV residents are very friendly. The staff is very helpful and to the landscaping workers you ate doing an amazing job 👏

I would give this golf course zero stars if I could. Like many other reviews have mentioned, the management is beyond disappointing. Kendall is extremely unprofessional, and the rest of the team follows suit. This place is run more like a constant party than a professional business. Instead of feeling like a well-managed golf course or resort, it feels like one ongoing party — professionalism is clearly not a priority here. Unless you’re comfortable with heavy drinking and unprofessional, inappropriate behavior from the owners, I would strongly suggest staying away from this so-called “resort.…

Beaver Dam Golf Course is definitely a challenging course, but that’s part of what makes it so enjoyable. The layout keeps you on your toes with a mix of tight fairways, well-placed hazards, and tricky greens. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or still improving your game, it’s a fun and rewarding experience. The scenery adds to the charm, making each round feel like a mini adventure.

I would like to respond to the 5-star review posted by Annie Shilson. It’s important for readers to know that Annie and her husband are employees of Beaver Dam Golf & RV Resort, and Annie works in the RV office. Annie was aware of all the email communications between us and Beaver Dam Golf & RV Resort from August 23 to September 16, 2025. The General Manager, Kendall, approved the monthly rate for our three-month stay, and we have proof of this agreement. When we later requested to leave early and asked about a refund, Kendall informed us that we had two options: 1. Move to another site and…

Decent course for the price. Fairways and Tee boxes were in great shape, but the Greens were a little rough. Definitely a course that is more enjoyable the second time playing as there are a few confusing/blind shots that dictate different strategies once you know the course layout better. Nice and quite setting.

Once again we were not disappointed by our experience at the RV resort. Nelda and her husband were awesome. They went out of their way to to make our week stay memorable. Great customer service. The golf course offers 1.50 a hole during the week. The course is in great shape and very enjoyable. We will be yearly visitors to this great establishment.

Resort??? Definitely not. If you need to golf daily you might like staying here....but beware....there is absolutely nothing else to do here other than golf. No amenities. No store unless you drive the 18 kms to Crossfield for a quart of milk or bread. The staff are extremely unfriendly and don't give you the time of day if you aren't spending money playing golf. Very cliquey campground. They have the "A". listers, the "B" listers, and the no listers...that was us. We'd be lucky to get a reply to our email or texts. Ignored most of the time. Terrible/non-existent communication from management…

Happily surprised by how well the course is for being somewhat early in the season and how much you pay. Customer service was great.

Kids are not allowed. I was very surprised to find out that kids under the age of 8 are not allowed on this golf course. I've gone to several golf courses and have had the opportunity to introduce my son to the wonderful game of golf since he was approximately 4 years old. Golf is one of the only sports that transcends generations, allowing people from a wide range of ages to play together. The staff explained that their policy comes down to liability and insurance. I find it hard to believe that a RV resort would turn away families from enjoying their facilities simply due to insurance cos…

This golf course is a complete disaster when it comes to management and staff. The people running it are incompetent and clearly have no idea how to operate a professional facility. Even worse, the young workers treat the place like their own personal playground. I saw employees drinking and driving a golf cart recklessly, with zero concern for guest safety. It was dangerous, irresponsible, and absolutely unacceptable. The fact that management allows this kind of behavior to go on unchecked shows how little they care about the members, visitors, or the reputation of the course. Instead of pro…

I gave this establishment 1 star only because it isn’t possible to give zero. The management/owners cannot be trusted to keep their word. We rented a site for 3 months at the following monthly rates: July 14 – August 14, 2025 – $1,200 August 14 – September 14, 2025 – $1,090 September 14 – October 13, 2025 – $980 During our stay, our RV and site were repeatedly struck by golf balls, creating serious safety concerns and the potential for thousands of dollars in damage. On August 23, 2025, we emailed Beaver Dam Golf & RV Resort’s general manager, Kendall (identified by RV office staff as th…
