Valley Ridge Golf Club

I had a great time at the Valley Ridge Golf Course! The head pro was very helpful and responsive for booking our tee time. The pro shop staff were friendly and welcoming. We had brunch at the course resturant and it was fairly priced and delicious. The course was fun to play and challenges you with lots of hills and bunkers. It was also in great shape! They had a seperate drink cart for the front and back nine so you never went long without seeing one.

If you are not challenged and yet left in awe from the layout along side the Bow River something is wrong. Every year the greens roll true and the course is in amazing shape. The vibe here is NOT like any other. You won't find anyone stuffy here. The staff and pros live way up to their reputations!! Go Play!! ENJOY!! Also new chef, even better food!

Valley Ridge Golf Club Restaurant is one of my favorite spots! The view outside is absolutely beautiful, and you can choose to sit inside or out. Inside, there are TVs if you want to catch a game while you eat. It does get a bit busy on weekends, so service can take a little longer — but on weekdays, it’s usually quick and smooth. We recently had the pleasure of decorating a beautiful event at Valley Ridge Golf Club, and it was a wonderful experience! As YYC Decorations, we truly appreciate working in such bright, elegant, and well-maintained spaces. The natural light and scenic views made our decoration setup stand out even more. Highly recommend this venue for weddings, baptisms, and special events in Calgary!

Went to Valley Ridge for the first time yesterday and had a great experience! Very scenic course with lots of different holes. It was a perfect night in terms of pace and weather. Nice to see a marshall out even in the evening to keep pace going. The front and back nine feel like different courses in a good way! Front nine a lot flatter in the river valley and tighter with a very strategic layout. Back nine more hilly but very open to really let the driver fly. Had a great smokie at the turn at the snack shack... I have to say having BBQ sauce in the condiment selection is a game changer!

Valley Ridge golf course is all class. Ryan Martino is the best Coach I’ve ever been to. Transformed my swing and quite literally a week later, broke 80 for the first time. Definitely recommend the course

Our daughter got married at the Valley Ridge Golf Club, and it was absolutely beautiful!! Beautiful venue, beautiful surroundings. The only annoying thing was that one of the workers on the golf course would not allow the photographer to take photos in certain areas outside. Said it was for "members only" seems silly as you pay a premium to have a wedding there and photos were not interrupting anyone.

We chose to have our wedding at VR for both our ceremony and reception. The team under Bre's management is phenomenal and extremely easy to work with. The service was well organized, food portions are generous (we had our meal plated), and they really went the mile to ensure that we had a lovely experience. As a bonus, between booking and having our actual wedding they installed permanent ceiling lights in the space. Its very airy, rustic, lighting is great, and there were tons of places for great photos.

We celebrated my sons’ First Communion at this golf course, and it was absolutely wonderful. The venue is stunning, the staff were so attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guests kept complimenting the atmosphere and the food. Thank you for helping make this special day unforgettable!

An excellent venue for an intimate wedding, with gorgeous views visible from the indoor reception area thanks to all the windows. Love the natural lighting. The staff were awesome and I enjoyed DJing here very much.

I was super excited to play this course again for the first time in 20 years. (I used to be a junior member) I’ve been trying all season to get a time and finally one showed up online. I called the clubhouse to confirm and booked the time through the pro shop. I show up to play and the sign on the door says 9 hole only today. So I walk in and inquire as to why, unfortunately I was greeted with an employee who was quite rude.
