In summary

Confederation Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole layout, which offers a mix of challenges suitable for both new and experienced golfers. The course's setting, with mature trees and an open layout, is appreciated for its beauty and accessibility. While the staff generally receive positive feedback, there are occasional criticisms regarding customer service and the handling of beginner players. Additionally, some reviewers mention inconsistencies in the greens' speed and the need for improvements in certain areas of the fairways.

Honestly nothing negative to say about this spot. Great driving range. Great staff. Phenomenal banana bread, make sure you grab a slice before your round. Course is in great shape and is super approachable. Fun for a quick little 9 hole rip or great to play through twice for a full round.

Awesome little gem! This 9 hole course is very well kept and it has its share of challenges for every golfer. Of the city's own 9-hole courses, this is the most challenging and beautiful. As always the staff is helpful and very kind.

Whether you’re at the driving range or playing all 18 holes, this golf course offers an experience you’ll truly enjoy. It’s easy to lose yourself in the moment and simply have a great time.

Nice little 9 Hole course. Staff are okay. Out of all the Calgary city courses, they probably are second worst. Shaganappi still takes the award for having the worst staff. The course itself is beautiful and I’ve never been paired with bad people here. They have always been amazing people to play with. City employees could use a refresher course on customer service seeing as we, residents, pay their salaries.

Confed is a great city course for its price point. Despite being only 9 holes there is still a good mix of par 5s 4s and 3s. With few hazards, the course is good for newer golfers as well. The clubhouse serves sandwiches and hot dogs with a small seating area.

The City of Calgary golf reservations are now asking you to complete your PROFILE before being able to proceed. NOT tied to your city of Calgary ID. And to complete this profile you need to add your STATE and ZIP code. Are you still in CANADA???

Lion's park used to be awesome in winter with the xmas lights and the crowds. This year however with the budget cuts it has fewer paths plowed and way fewer lights. It's great to see that the Parks folks still put effort into preserving this nice community building tradition.

Great little Gem ......a decent quality city run 9 hole Golf course in the middle of the city. In winter around Christmas, the SE corner of the golf course on 14st and 24 Ave, turns into 'Lions Festival of Lights' with thousands of Christmas Decorations. Very nice.

I have been going to play golf at Confederation Park for about 20 years. Is it the fanciest course? Nope Is it 18 holes? Nope Can anyone play it? Yep! I think I find the reason why I have been coming back year after year to play Confederation Park Golf Course is that it actually has 2 decent length par 5's, you can easily walk the course, although there are some hills and elevation changes, it's a lovely little course generally well maintained and we always have a great time playing there. It only takes just over 2 hours to play with plenty of different holes and you get a great little workou…

Great city golf course! Easy 9 hole for the entire family to enjoy. Lots of trees, which I like, keeps the game more challenging.

Overall a good 9 hole city course, good pace of play. My only complain is the greens were inconsistent in speed and a bit on the slow side.
