Shaganappi Point Golf Course

I always enjoy golfing at Shaganappi. The views are great, staff is friendly. The course is nice with lots of challenges but not too difficult. Close to downtown. Senior rates are great!

Love this course very challenging holes. Tough starting hole number one with green surrounded by water 💦 Great double dog leg par 5 to well guarded elevated bunker green. Seven par three and two gullies to shoot over. Some of the best golf ⛳️👀views of the city from this back nine

Course was in beautiful shape. Pace of play was average with groups of 3-4 per hole and busy as soon as daylight breaks. Course was a little shorter than what I was prepared for. Friendly staff affordable prices and love transit station right infront of them for easy way back to downtown. Would definitely recommend and would play again. Only suggestion would be water available on few holes.

I can't recommend Shagnappi Point enough, especially for the views. The back nine offers some of the most stunning, unobstructed views of the downtown Calgary Skyline you'll find on a golf course. It truly elevates the entire round!

After a few rounds here I must say I’m loving Shaganappi. Especially for a city course, it’s in great shape and offers challenging play, and spectacular views of the city. I’ve played a handful of other courses in the Calgary area now, all of them costing more than Shaganappi, and none of them being as enjoyable. The staff are super friendly and very informative for a new player to the course. A decent little snack bar available as well. Don’t bank on much of a pro shop as it is a city course at the end of the day. Basics like tees and balls available but not much else. I look forward to p…

Calgarys most scenic 18 / 9 hole golf course. Not long but still a nice challange. Great views, conditions and price. What else do you want?

Great inner city golf course, decently easy to get a tee time without too much time in advance and well priced. Back 9 has some fantastic views of Calgary's skyline!

Excellent golf course. A fun and challenging layout. The course is beautiful and very enjoyable. Great views of downtown Calgary can be seen from the course. There are two really challenging holes where you have to carry your drive over a gully otherwise it’s gone. Depending on the tees that you play from, it can be very challenging. Very affordable considering the calibre of the course. I would have expected to pay a lot more.

An interesting and challenging course. Walkable but a few challenging hills on the back nine. This photo is the 10th hole. Some amazing city and river views on the back nine as well as a cool bridge that stretches over a gorge. You can often see wildlife such as Deer. The gorge had a ski hill way back in the 70's where I learned to ski. A true treasure for the City of Calgary! Too bad they couldn't build a nice clubhouse where the current practice green is with a deck overlooking the city....

Great value for inner city golf. Took some friends who were visiting Calgary and they loved playing here, all the city views were great and the casual vibe at the course is very welcoming for all skill levels. We played the 18 hole “point” course and while it was short compared to other courses- par 68- still challenging enough. I will be back!

Played back 9 mid May at 7 am. Golf course is located near to highway, plenty parking spots, friendly staff and rental clubs were is good shape. Greens were in dissent condition, bunkers well prepared and overall I love variety of holes that golf course offers! Stunning view of downtown says a lot but if you add a many par opportunities then you have a perfect place to tee off with friends or solo!

A decent course here with plenty of room to practice your driving and iron skills. The 9 hole course is the perfect place to work on your short game without taking too long. There are just enough challenges to keep you on your toes with dog legs, water features and elevation changes. I know this is going to sound strange, but even the Marshall here is quite friendly and a true positive attribute to the Course. No scowl or frown, he comes around with a sincere interest in assisting people having trouble on the course and adding a positive spin on people's days. I forget his name but I enjoyed…
