In summary

Belterra Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful course, well-maintained fairways and greens, and friendly staff, with many appreciating the challenging layout and scenic setting. However, some visitors have noted issues with the tee boxes, which are often in poor condition, and the slow pace of play. Additionally, the lack of a traditional turn after nine holes and the high pricing have been points of contention for some golfers.

Course was in good shape overall, besides a couple of tee boxes that were covered in weeds. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because after finishing the 9th hole, we were stopped by a female staff member who told us there is no stopping at the turn, and you have to play 18 holes all the way through. I have never played at any course ever that does not allow you to stop at the turn and get some food/drinks etc before starting the back 9. For $125 I did not expect this type of service. Might I add nobody in the clubhouse mentioned this rule before our round, and there was also no signage posted…

Beautiful golf course and excellent service. Basically had course to selves. Front desk, bar service and cart attendant all offered great additions to the experience. Really want to thank Austin the cart attendant for returning a 9 iron I left on the range. He came in clutch! $65 for a 3pm tee time at this facility is a steal.

This course was awesome. It's also expensive, but I played two weeks ago during off-season rates. The course was perfect. Roughs had been aerified! That's next level maintenance. My only disappointment was not being able to see the river. I thought with the proximity there'd be some river views, but oh well, still 5 stars, easy. See the attached photos for how this course was looking in mid March!

Enjoyed this course a lot. Even though three holes were shortened due to sand bunker work, course was in great shape from tee boxes to greens. A smooth four hour round was also appreciated.

Tgis course runs along the north side of the Ohio River and is a part of the Belterra Casino (small casino). The fairways and greens were in fantastic condition, considering that this region is experiencing drought conditions. The course was complicated, yet not difficult enough to negatively affect my game. The greens were subtly challenging as well.

Probably the worst I’ve ever seen this course . Pretty much every tee box is covered in crabgrass which has taken over and killed the good grass. Hopefully this fall / winter they can redo the tee boxes. Fairways and greens are pretty good. Really need to take down and clear some of the brush and wild trees out . Fazio never intended to have those trees like that . It’s really smothering the course . It’s a shame because it’s a great layout .

Got a hot deal on GolfNow and had a great round. The staff was friendly, and course was in great condition. I was paired up, but the other golfer was fun to play with. Very slow round, though. There was a group slowing everyone down on the course. They had free range balls, it was nice to hit a few before the round. Also, each cart had iced bottles of water in a cooler and they also gave us cooled towels after the round.

Course was in great condition in early September. Rates were fair and the staff was incredible! The course is pretty challenging.

Second time here. Finally got to play the course and it was awesome! Missing some features thanks to covid19 but the property was in beautiful shape. Always a great experience at Belterra! Every member of the staff is amazing!

One of the worst rounds of my life, but it wasn’t the course’s fault! Beautiful course. Quick greens. Well maintained.

This course was worth $50 maybe on a good day. Definitely not $125. Overall decent shape. Tee boxes were kinda rough. And all of the cart-path-only holes that weren't par threes were exceptionally annoying. At least a third of the non-par 3s were cart-path-only. I have played *much* better courses for far less. Would not play again at that price.
