We came here for the eclipse viewing and you never met a nicer group of people! Everything was impeccably organized, family friendly, laid back... I wish I both lived closer and played golf just to visit more often. Clean restrooms, beautiful fields, good food, and just the nicest staff you've ever met who made all of us out of town folks feel completely welcome.

My husband and I just started golfing this summer. We're hooked.!! We've mostly played here at high pointe. After the last 2 experiences, we won't be back. It's a shame really. We had been talking to one of their employees (super nice lady, I wish I knew her name) about joining next year. I was even gonna join the ladies league next spring. So, last week we visited a different course. We each took our own cart and it helped our pace of play. Today, we went to play 9 holes at High pointe and we each took our own cart. Love this course! Play there every Sunday! Friendly staff and great ownership! If you're looking to golf id recommend going here! Nothing like golfing between Christmas and New Year's Eve in Southern IL. Course looks great still this time of year.

Booked a week out ahead and show up to the course for the tee time and there are no carts available, and there was an event on the front nine we weren’t told about over the phone so the back nine was backed up to a crawl. Sorry excuse for a golf course!

My daughter and I went for the solar eclipse. It was wonderful. Everything was as promised. Great food and drinks.

Very disappointed with the course. Sand traps were not maintained at all. Tee box had so much crab grass in them. $45 for 18 holes and a cart was so overpriced. Have played course much nicer for less.

Booked a week ahead, show up on time, and they don’t even have carts ready. To make it worse, there was some event clogging up the front nine that nobody bothered to mention when I called. The back nine was a nightmare, stacked up shot after shot. Absolute joke of a course and zero respect for people’s time.

Got threatened 2 times pace of play was SLOW took almost 5 hours to play.......they need to get a course ranger and enforce pace of play the regulars there are mean and rude would not recommend.....it is a nice course but not worth dealing with the idiots who are playing there

Absolutely a very Great day at the golf course today. Was great to see crew working on drainage today. New cups and new flags. Greens are beginning to shape up. Tees still need some TLC. Over all...course is looking best it's been in very long time. TY folks for all your care.

Love the layout typical September greens in our area it was wet (we got like 5" of rain the day before) but was a fun round to walk. the greens were a bit long but the rain we got probably was more of a factor then the maintenance good course all around I enjoyed my round

They must be doing well. They can afford to turn business away. Just drove up from Washington, got to the course about 4:45 and the employee at the counter told me I couldn’t play because he was leaving early. Not a very good way to earn repeat business
