In summary

Birch Bay Village Golf Course is highly praised for its well-maintained grounds, challenging layout with multiple water hazards, and stunning views, particularly of Mount Baker. The atmosphere is described as friendly and welcoming, with a helpful staff and good amenities, including a pro shop and coffee shop. However, some visitors note the course's exclusivity due to its location in a gated community, requiring local sponsorship for access, and mention additional costs for non-residents and cart rentals.

Golf course is very well designed and maintained. There are par 4’s and par 3’s. Many are quite challenging — with multiple water hazards throughout your round. Stunning view of Mount Baker on #7 tee box. It’s a “private” course so you’ll need to have a local BBV resident sponsor you in order to get a tee time. This course is a “hidden-gem” in terms of its architecture and stellar maintenance crew. Absolutely one of my favorite courses in Washington State!

Birch Bay Village golf course is great. It's well maintained and really makes you a better golfer. Makes you hit straight. If you go Left your in someone's yard if you go right your in the water. It's really not that bad but it helps to sharpens you game. It is in a gated community so you will need to know someone who lives there to play.

we came here on a rainy day and they still charged us an insanely expensive charge because we weren't locals to the retirement village they also said you could borrow golf carts but they were like an extra 50$ so we just had to walk around on the wet grass and then while we were walking on the course one of the cources gaurds pulled us over and asked us if we had are recite and blocked us from playing for like 10 min overall the experience was slightly agrivatt ing and I don't know when I'll go back to that place...
