In summary

Peace Portal Golf Course is praised for its beautiful setting near the U.S. border, diverse and challenging layout, and friendly, helpful staff. The course offers a mix of long and short fairways with well-kept greens, although some visitors note issues with course maintenance, such as uneven tee boxes and slow greens. The on-site restaurant, NOBLE, receives high marks for its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular choice even for non-golfers.

Play here a bunch of times but we won’t go back after our recent experience. The first 9 were fine but on the back 9 we had to wait for the group ahead of us before we could tee off. After waiting for the group to clear and teeing off, the Marshall comes and tells us we need to hurry up and proceeds to hover and watch us. I took this photo after he told us to hurry up when you can see we were right on the group ahead of us. We were also a foursome and the threesome behind us never caught up to us. Pace of play is important but you have to be reasonable.

As someone plays the forward tee (red), this course was challenging to me, as we have to hit it off the same box as White and Blue, I wish there's a forward tee box, especially with the hill up and down can be challenging for women, and senior I think. It was a fun day, green condition was so so, because is winter golf still. It was alright a golf course. I think if it is summer golf, I might have a better experience tho. Also I wanted to add that 90% fairway feels like rough, grass just way too tall, we were so confused about this. Note that we played on March 1st.

We went to NOBLE as a family for dinner and really enjoyed it. The space is beautiful and relaxed, with a big patio overlooking the golf course — perfect for a quiet evening out. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and was clearly made from scratch. We had the Caesar salad, meatballs, and pasta, and all of it was well-prepared and flavorful. Portions were good and service was friendly without being too formal. Even though it’s located at a golf course, you don’t need to be a golfer to enjoy it. It’s a bit out of the way, but worth the drive if you’re looking for a nice meal in a…

You guys should keep the par 3 open. It's the best kept little secret ever. It was good for beginners and a good price point, not to mention it was the best par 3 around. So sad to hear it's closed. Not everybody can afford the big courses or at that skill level to play them without holding people up. Big Mistake!!!

Peace Portal Golf Course offers a solid round of golf with a beautiful setting just minutes from the U.S. border. The course has a classic layout, with tree-lined fairways and some tricky doglegs that keep things interesting. The greens are well-kept and roll true, though the course can be challenging due to its elevation changes. There’s a nice balance of wide-open holes and more technical shots to test your game. With friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, Peace Portal is a great choice for a scenic and enjoyable day of golf.

Great golf course with excellent restaurant. New deck outside being built to enjoy more patio time. We played today. Course in good shape. Greens were decent, and cart helped keep the sun off. Patio afterwards we ordered Nachos, Fish 'n Chips, and Seafood Linguini. Food is excellent here. Will definitely be back...

Nice well maintained course. Smallish good quality greens. You get a great work out if you walk the course.

The course itself is very diverse and good for golfers of all handicaps. I tend to play here multiple times a year and it never gets old. Furthermore, the staff, particularly Scott, are very helpful and do everything they can to make the experience a positive one!

The Hills used to be called Peace Portal Golf. It's changed ownership. It's located near the Canada , US border. It has a huge parking lot and it also has a par 3 course beside it if you don't want to play the big course. They have a clubhouse that serves food all day plus an Artigiano coffee shop and live entertainment on the weekends. There's a table set up at the 10th hole for drinks, hot dogs and chips. The new owners have made changes. The first tee box was moved up about 50 yards, which was a good move. It makes the first hole played faster. After that, they changed the next eight holes…

What a fantastic course! If you’re in the area, you NEED to take some time and play! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The condition of the course was great! It is a challenging course, but you never get better if you don’t push yourself!!

Very well groomed course, definitely some challenging holes. Greens were fun with some degree of difficulty. It's been here a while, you can tell by the age of the trees throughout. Only one thing to complain about was the sand on the greens. However, it should be expected this time of year. Definitely would recommend this to all.

Played at this golf course with a friend. The staff at the pro shop were very nice and friendly. It started raining after we teed off. By the 7th hole we were drenched and decided to quit. The staff at the pro shop were extremely friendly and gave us a rain check which I really didn’t expect. I will definitely play here again and recommend it to all my friends. I’ve been playing golf for over 30 years. Keep it up peace portal and thanks a lot. We appreciate it.
