Blackhawk Golf Course

What a great 9 holes. A great place to learn the game. The condition of the course was very good. Loved #5 the only Par 5. #4, #8 and #9 are real good holes. I was able to walk on with no issue, but it can be busy.

Most underrated course in the entire Janesville area! Always have open tee times any time of day when you call, and the prices haven’t changed in years. When it comes to the great condition the course is always in, being able to walk 9 holes for $11 is a value that can’t be beat! There is also a free practice area across the street with a practice green surrounded by an open grass area of about an acre. You simply don’t find these free practice areas like this at other places. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Matt and Paul are great! Very knowledgeable and good for a laugh.…

Great 9 holes course! Played first time ever, 2 rounds, the first to find its challenges, the second to enjoy them. Will be back again!

I played a round with an old friend and a new friend. Decent course for a city property. The cart paths need some attention or they need to get carts with full suspension! Certainly challenging enough with bunkers, dog legs, just enough trees, and 2 holes that the fairway is bisected by the creek that meanders through. The greens were hit and miss. Some seemed "dead" and some seemed really "fast". Still well maintained for a city course.

Great short course. I finally was able to meet the groundskeepers dog (Moose). He made the experience 10x better. It's adorable that he gets to go to work with his dad every day.

There are no sand traps on this course but the greens are very smooth and undulating. It's a very nice parkland type course with plenty of trees lining the fairways. One of the most well-kept and challenging 9-hole courses you can play.

The course currently has a few bridges so it's a pain to walk. I think they are recovering from the flood earlier in the year so the course isn't in very good shape. It really is a nice little course to play though and you should give it a chance. I think it will be much better once they get it back to pre flood shape.

Blackhawk is a nice quick simple course to get on and off of. Right now though it's a little rough to play but weather is the cause of that. Bridges are still out and one of the holes has major water issues. Other than that I think it's a great quick course to play when you just want to get out quick.

Great golf course. Beautiful views with the falls colors. Prices with cart for nine are affordable. Gentleman at the pro shop was super nice and helpful.

Always have fun on this course. Glad it is so close to home.
