In summary

Blue Springs Country Club is often praised for its well-maintained greens and affordable pricing, with some visitors appreciating the course's challenging layout and family-friendly atmosphere. However, several reviews highlight issues with slow pace of play, lack of water and amenities on the course, and management challenges, particularly during busy times or inclement weather. While the staff is generally described as friendly, some customers have experienced dissatisfaction with the handling of tee times and course conditions.

We had a 715 tee time. When we arrived, they asked us to start the back 9 because of a tournament, which was fine but when we got to 16 they asked us to go to 1 then when we got to one they said just find a hole on the front 9. We got bounced around all day because it was so busy. The Marshall was very nice about it. The holes were in great shape but most of them were not interesting and mostly straight, and all felt the same. Not a bad course just not much variety and super busy

Update as of playing again 2-8-‘26. Adjusted review to a 1 star. Almost 3 hrs to play the front 9. 35 minutes of that was playing hole 1. I counted a total of 12 of us players (15 ppl total if you include girlfriends of the 3some behind us) sitting at hole 2 waiting to tee off. The 3some behind us asked if they could play through. We had already let the walking single behind us join us on 1. Assuming the walker was supposed to be paired with the 3some and they showed up late. The whole course looked like L.A. in rush hour. We explained there was nowhere to go. A few holes later, One of those k…

If it would let my I would give this place negative stars me and 3 others got to the 7th hole and it started raining, when we got up to the club house they said we couldn’t get a rain check and we couldn’t finish our round of golf I never been to a golf course that wouldn’t give up a rain check I am very disappointed and will never be returning to this horrible establishment. IF YOU SEE THIS I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU DONT COME HERE.

Was invited to play the course, LOVED IT! Great layout, super friendly (especially compared to the other clubs who think they’re Augusta). It really appears to be a great facility to raise a family! Saw a few kids playing around the putting green, and that let’s me know they keep family first. I love that!

Booked tee time online on golf now. Today was in the 80s and sun was beating down. The course has no water out for their customers. Ball washers aren’t available as well. But worst of all no one checks on you the entire time you’re there. There two employees sitting in the office when ever single green has thousand helicopter seed pods running your chips and putts. 40$ for this is unacceptable. Get you team out of the office and clean off the greens and for god sake put out some water. We won’t ever be coming back course used to have management that seemed to take care of these issues but the…

The layout of the course is nice, and it offers a good challenge without being difficult to navigate. I’ve read other reviews mentioning how busy it can get, and that’s accurate. There’s no starter or ranger to help manage pace of play. My tee time was at 2:24, but when I arrived, there were golfers scheduled for later times already at the tee box. I asked the gentleman at the pro shop about starting, and he said I could go out any time close to my tee time. According to the website, tee times can only be booked online. The cost was $46, which I paid at the course, but there’s an additional 1…

If Google would let me, I’d give it a zero after our experience today. We had 6 people and booked two tee times one right after another. We were told we couldn’t go in a group together although we were letting duos play through. When we were on the 12th going to the 13th, a guy hit a ball from a tee box the wrong direction at us. They just laughed about it. There were no Marshall’s or employees driving the course. If your ball was not hit directly on the fairway, good luck walking through the 2ft grown grass to find it. The girl driving the beverage cart was very nice.

If I could I would leave 0 stars. Me and 3 buddy where playing 18 holes and we got 7 holes in and it starting lighting and pouring on us so we decided to go get a rain check. When we got to the clubhouse they told us we couldn’t play any longer because carts had to be in a hour later and they denied us for getting a rain check so we are all out $40 and didn’t get to play half of what we paid for. I will not be returning and a 9 hole rain check would’ve been the right thing a normal golf course would have done for there customers.

Absolutely fantastic Muni in the KC area. For the price, the course is in fantastic shape. Not an easy course, but perfectly playable for all golfers.

I played there for the first time in a couple of years. They have made some nice improvements to the course. The greens are awesome, and the bunkers have fresh white sand. Some of the tees and fairways are very dry,but it's been a dry summer. Overall, decent course for the money.
