In summary

Boulder Pointe Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and scenic setting, with a mix of open and wooded areas that offer a variety of water hazards. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and accommodating. However, many visitors express concerns about course maintenance, citing issues with the condition of bunkers, greens, and carts, as well as slow pace of play and inadequate facilities.

First time playing Boulder Pointe. I like the layout and the fairways and greens were in great shape. The one area that needs to be improved is the bunkers; see photos. Now I realize I shouldn’t hit into a bunker, but when I do their condition has a direct impact on making a nice shot. I will play there again and hope that the bunkers have improved.

Course needs a lot of work grounds crew could be doing way better. Bunkers were all washed out and muddy, greens were in bad condition with ball marks and goose shit, pins were on slopes with more the 5 degrees that’s considered an illegal pin coming from a guy that works on a course, tee boxes were just as long as the rough. I hope they can fix these thing I really like the course just need to be in better condition

Probably the worst course we’ve ever been to. Staff was rude and didn’t even communicate to us when we arrived, we had to push for anything to be able to get things started. The greens were not taken care of for anything, goose dropping everywhere, divots every place you look especially on the tee boxes. There was flooding everywhereeee. Also the course itself is deep in wooded areas and full of gnats and mosquitoes, they must not spray for bugs because the entire time we played we were being eaten alive. There are multiple water hazards on every hole which could have been a fun challenge, but…

Course is in poor shape for the price which forces me to pay for a cart. Why am I paying for a cart when I'm waiting on every hole for two more more groups to Tee off? Teed off 20 minutes late because that's how backed up it was to START playing. Took 2 hours and 40 minutes for 9! I'm not playing a 6 hour game of golf. Bailed after 9 when I saw that all the groups were still locked up ahead of me. Two 4somes, a 2some, another 4some and my 2 some all on holes one and two after starting the back nine (started playing the 18 on hole 10 today). Greed. Pure and simple. Overbooked, Overpriced.

Getting a bit shabby for 66 bucks a round. Not being cared for. Each hole had overflowing garbage cans... carts are in rough shape. Standing water in a bunch of places. Greens are slow... not mowed...goose issue...poop covers almost every green. All the wooden bridges are about to fall apart. Too bad... could be a really nice course if someone put some care into it. The staff are great, however... and good prices on beer and food.

Not a bad track. It’s short but that’s just fine. The driving range is odd with no targets, and you hit into a marsh if you go too long right. 1 out of 5 balls has been hit by a mower at least… Tee boxes are fine, fairways played nice, and the greens were fine too. However, the most annoying thing was the poor job done by the greens mower. Absolutely inexcusable tire marks left on every green. Knowing what a superintendent expects from a mower (wide turns away from the green) this day the mower clearly had no care to slow down. The turns were tight and really left obvious marks. Every pass on…

Course needs a lot of deferred maintenance, borderline dangerous with maligned bridges. Food and beverage choices limited and range balls are like hitting rocks.

Course has gone down hill so badly in 2 years. Faucet doesn’t work in the men’s restroom, there is no water in any of the ball cleaners on the course, fairways are beaten up along with the bunkers, and weeds growing all over the course. Use to be a great value course.

Course is challenging, staff is very nice and pizza at Bar is outstanding. Rate to course to very good.

Beautiful course and with all the rain this summer, the groundskeepers have their work cut out for them. This is one of my favorite courses in the south metro, and if you are a fan of water then this course is for you. The driving range leaves something to be desired, but in the end, I go there to play golf.

This course is very challenging. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. It just needs more people to support it so the cart paths can be repaired. The scorecard desperately needs an overhead view showing the dog legs, the route from the green to the next tee and where the water hazards are.

You know I've been golfing Boulder point just for a couple years now and I went for my 6th or 7th trip on September 12th 2023 and I was really happy with what I saw. This course had its wet spots, it always will because it's built in a swamp but they do a really good job of doing a good job.
