Willingers Golf Club

This course is one of the best deals in the Twin Cities. Beautiful holes through marshland and trees—bring your camera! You might see some wildlife, too. The staff is great and pace of play was very good. Definitely worth the short drive.

I've played this course since it first opened in 1991 and I have always enjoyed it. Today was no different after not playing it for several years. The course is in great shape, well groomed and very green. Greens were very consistent all the way thru the round. It's worth the drive to escape the city courses. Very scenic and challenging course.

Well conditioned course threading its way through forests and marshlands. Some unusual holes. Very enjoyable.

One of my favorites in the whole state! This is a must play in the south metro, absolutely gorgeous golf course! The greens and fairways were in pristine condition. Saw plenty of wildlife on all 18 holes. Only complaint I would have is that the pace of play was very slow on the back nine. We had a group 12 playing in front of us for a bachelor party and it slowed down the pace of play significantly. Unfortunately a ranger never made it around to the group to help keep things moving. Overall a great experience and a must play in Minnesota.

I do like this course but the rate is high and the course is overly tough for your average golfer. One of the prettiest courses in the state - wildlife everywhere and lakes/marshes filled with golf balls. Staff is nice. Currently grill isn't serving anything - outside stand has burgers/brats

Meandering through marshes, wetlands and woodlands, Willingers may just be the most scenic course in the state. Underneath that beauty is a fair and demanding golf course though. Fast but fair greens, great range and practice greens coupled with an outstanding staff makes Willingers a must play. Pace of play was outstanding too!

Worst golf experience of my life. The course itself was fun and moderately challenging, however, the tee times were scheduled far too close together. At one point 4 groups were on one hole. The other golfers were extremely rude. One group we let play through and another group cut in front of us and hit irons roughly 150 yards in front of us driving. Another golfer told us it was inappropriate to let better groups play through. (This is a normal and common practice) Never in my life have I paid so much money to golf and be in such a hostile and hurried environment. Trust me, take the extra time…

Absolutely beautiful course. Grew up just a few miles away but for some reason took 35 years to get out here to play. Plenty of challenges around the course for any level golfer. Great service from the staff. Will certainly be back for the Tuesday lunch special

Really fun course we played from the champion it was a really challenge track, greens were in perfect shape and rolling fast definitely I will back to play again

What a great course. Great shape and not over crowded. Green were fast and true. Played the tips and it is a challenging but fair course!!!

Willinger's is a gem. Beautiful property. Difficult but fair design that offers great risk/reward decisions. Perfectly maintained. If the price tag is more than you usually spend on a round, treat yourself. (Or check out deals on their website like "two for Tuesday" that includes lunch.) You won't be disappointed. The front nine winds through marshlands with iconic photo opps. On the back, you'll navigate hills and wooded areas. Drive it straight, or bring plenty of balls!

Very nice and challenging course. Great shape. And the greens were very smooth. Hit them straight or you do get in trouble and punished. Great weather and great course.
