In summary

Caistorville Golf Club is often praised for its friendly staff, affordability, and suitability for beginners, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The course layout is described as simple and beginner-friendly, with small greens and a mix of hole types that provide a good learning environment. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, particularly after rain, and the close proximity of holes, which can lead to safety concerns and a less polished golfing experience.

Due to the rain the course was severely flooded, I think I stepped more in puddles than the fairways!!! After 9 holes my socks were wet and I had to quit. The layout is nice but it’s short and probably on a good day would be fun but this time ITS WAS A DISASTER. STAY AWAY WHEN ITS WET. They should offer a refund as the course is literally unplayable.

Nice course for a relaxed round of golf, enough challenging holes for an experienced hack and easy enough for starters. Customer service on the phone, pro shop and cart return was excellent, seems family owned. Course was in decent condition, greens were good but fairways a little dry due to weather. I'd go back for sure since it is not a crowded golf course although it was Friday afternoon. Check yes if this helped you :)

Great golf course for beginners. No bunkers and a few ponds scattered around. It has very small greens forcing you to be accurate. Can't beat it for the price.

Nice golf course, very simple up and down holes best suited for beginners. Mainly par 4 with a few par 3 and couple par 5, longest hole was in the low 400 yardage. Overall a good learning course.

Easy to play course run by easy going people. Most holes are flat and easy to play, so I should get better scores than I do! The water hazards are ball magnets. Course is well maintained except during dry hot periods. It's expensive to water the grass. My favourite time to play CV is September to the end of the season. Fun place to play without fancy people looking down on you for slicing one or three into the woods.

Can't beat the price here. Love bringing my son to this course. Course is always in decent to good shape. Always a good flow to the round.

Very fun course, beginner friendly, and twilight hours is an amazing value. Greens are well kept, and there's plenty of hazards to work around.

Perfect for a relaxed round of golf. There's a good mix of holes to challenge all areas of your game. Don't expect Glen Abbey conditions, but expect a clean and friendly round.

Love this course. Very layed back. Great bang for your buck. Greens and teebox conditions have been better than a few clublink courses this year. Bravo to the groundskeeper

Good for the price! The greens are smaller which makes approach shots a challenge... Great way to sharpen up on iron play.... Most holes are pretty short so it gives you the option to go for the green on lay up off the tee on the 4's. Pretty simple to get up and down around the greens...
