In summary

Empire Springs Golf Club is appreciated for its beginner-friendly layout, wide open fairways, and family-run atmosphere, making it a popular choice for a relaxed and affordable round of golf. Many visitors commend the friendly staff and the course's accessibility for players of all skill levels. However, some golfers have noted issues with the condition of the greens and uneven fairways, and a few have mentioned concerns about customer service and maintenance.

Friendly folks and a good option to look to book a last minute tee time on a nice weekend. This is definitely more of a beginner course with wide open tee shots and fairways with hardly any hazards to contend with. It’s a flat and bland kind of course with not a whole lot of exciting holes or shots. The greens were very soft/long and did not roll true, making putting and chipping frustrating if you’re used to playing average golf. $56 to walk 18 with a push cart on a Sunday morning in 3 hours. Good option for bringing the old lady or a beginner friend for a laid back round of golf.

The reviews of this course don’t do it justice. The course is in decent condition and is very beginner friendly. The fairways are a reasonable length and in good condition. The greens could be improved but at the end of the day it’s 30ish dollars for a round and you’re supporting a family owned business. Would definitely come back

Really enjoyed my round today! Pace of play was amazing, greens had a couple rough patches but they were very slow and spongey! Play from the tips for a true experience, looking forward to coming back!

What a nice little hidden gem. Very open course that is family run and pretty easy to book. Some of the greens need some love but you can’t beat it for the price and ease of booking. Highly recommend for a fast easy round.

Wide open par 72 course in pretty good condition. Reasonably challenging for my level of golf lots of par 4s .not to difficult to walk the fairways .Really liked it

I find it hilarious that people can just absolutely tear into someone's way of making a living because they don't like the grass that grows. Then move your ball. The course is exactly as advertised you can play a round in 2 hours. Just move your ball if you don't like your lye, you're not on the PGA tour here. The owners are fabulous I bring my kid there as much as I can. The owners we're playing with their nephews, the whole family was out playing, that's what it's about. The course itself is absolutely challenging it's always windy it's long and it takes all clubs in the bags to have a good…

This is the worst course in Ontario. The fairways are bumpy and uneven everywhere, you'll never get decent ball position anywhere on the course. The grass on the greens is longer than my front yard, so spongy and slow. The worst part about this horrible place is he charges the same rates all season, not worth it. I will never go back and I wouldn't pay 25 bucks to play there. Don't waste your money! Plenty of courses out there that are way better and cheaper.

I would give this course negative stars if I could. We would never return here may be worth 30 with a cart. The tee offs were awful the grass was just as long as the grass in the rough. The greens were in bad shape. Just very poor upkeep on this course. I wanted to buy a beer but the fridge with drinks was basically empty. I found d the guy on the phone very odd and a bit rude. Then when we got there he was even more strange. I would encourage anyone to spend the extra 10 bucks and take your business to a much nicer course with some shade. Stay away! This place is awful 😖

My friend Dan and I have been golfing here for a few years now and Paul and his parents have been nothing but amazing . We would give him a call on the eighth hole and our hot dogs would be ready when we finished the ninth. I have to tip my hat to the bullfrog that taunts us every time we pass him, usually right before you strike the ball. lol. Five stars

They aren't the most friendly ,wanting ID to rent a cart. They charge as if they are a top course but it's anything but. Better options 5-10 away. Won't be going back!
