I recently had the opportunity to play at The Golf Club of California and it was a fantastic experience. The course layout is both challenging and enjoyable, with great use of elevation and natural surroundings. One of the biggest highlights is the beautiful scenery, especially the rolling hills and mature trees that make every hole unique. The greens were well-maintained and provided a smooth and consistent roll throughout the round. Another major advantage is the peaceful atmosphere, which makes it a perfect escape from the busy city. The staff were friendly and professional, adding to the o…

This golf course is full of unique charm. Every hole offers its own special allure—get ready to fall in love with each one. It's the kind of course that stays in your mind and makes you want to come back again and again. With well-maintained fairways and greens, stunning views, and friendly staff, it's a truly satisfying golfing experience.

The Golf Club of California course is located near Fallbrook, California. We came across this course through the JC Card and it is very well-maintained and on a premium property. It has challenges for all, and a nice range for practice. The course is a welcome venture into a course set in a little more nature than the average SoCal course. The restrooms and facilities are very nice, and the carts are great. The pro shop staff, caddies, and range staff are all friendly. The shop itself is a little lean on inventory, particularly snacks and beverages. We were paired up with a dad and young s…

I’ve been playing here for a few years now and this course never disappoints. They somehow always are able to keep this course in amazing shape when many others in the area do not, and they are always fairly priced for a morning round of golf. Pace of play is always very good and they have plenty of marshals driving around to ensure things are moving well. This is definitely one of the best quality for the price courses in the area and I’d highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Also love they consistently have a hotdog stand at the turn that has a really good priced combo that d…

Played course 12 Sept 2024. The amenities of this course is unmatched. From the locker room to the practice facilities. Course has a full range and good practice area for chipping and putting. The course also has a great military discount rate. The starter outside was friendly and very helpful. As for the course it's in pretty good shape. The tee boxes are cut nicely, fairways cut nice although some dry spot, the bunkers could be a lot better with actual sand added to some of them, the greens are in great shape with the exception of maybe 1. The course is clearly working on that green to bring…

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the golf course for the price of the green fee. Routing and design are very good with elevation change and a variety of golf holes. I would recommend this golf course. Staff (Golf Shop, Starter, Range Attendant, and others) were very friendly and professional. It has a relaxed atmosphere and is well run, an excellent combination. I would certainly play here again. **Photo is the 7th hole. (Par 3)**

Played Dec 29, 9 holes at 2.00pm. Nice course for a fair price. Couple of unfortunate circumstances kind of sullied our day. Marshall was warning us to speed up play when we were waiting on every tee for the group in front of us. Seemed like a nice fellow that just didn’t know what he was doing. The more bothersome thing was the the starter, who was aggressively hostile toward us for no apparent reason. At no point was I anything other than respectful, polite and soft spoken toward him, don t know where his attitude was coming from. Definitely took the shine off an otherwise enjoyable day Gerr…

Very nice people, attentive, professional, and fun. Very challenging Golf Course from the back it might be too much for a lot of people, but you can always play the whites or red markers and still have a good challenge. The course was in good shape and a nice breeze came at the perfect time of day.

I recently had the pleasure of playing a round at this golf course, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The cafe/ restaurant has delicious foods and drinks, and course itself is impeccably maintained, with lush fairways, pristine greens, and breathtaking scenery at every turn. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the passion for golf that is evident in every aspect of the golf course. It's clear that they truly care about providing an excellent golfing experience. Highly recommend this place whether you visit with family or fr…

Today's golf trip was really great! Every course here was enjoyable because the environment was filled with nature and varied per course, and the fairway and the green are of great quality. The oak tree leaves were changing into their fall colors, and thus, it felt like we were having a picturesque fall picnic. The eucalyptus flowers were also very beautiful.

Visiting here from New Jersey and this was one of the most beautiful courses I’ve had the pleasure of playing on. The staff in the pro shop and grill were extremely welcoming. The course itself was amazing and you could tell maintenance does a great job with the upkeep of the course. Definitely worth the visit and already planning for my next trip out here.

Very nice course. Private course model but open to the public. Got good deal on Golfnow.com. Course is good for experts and intermediate golfers. Course was in good shape when I played. Some patchy spots on fairways but only areas where you shouldn't be. Greens in great condition, not fast but not slow. Some blind shots off the tee so use GPS or the guide book they have at the Pro Shop if first time playing. Luckily got to play with some locals and they gave me targets off the tee. Carts included but does not have gps, have to bring your own. No cart lady...or maybe cause had early tee time, d…
