The Golf Club at Rancho California

It was really really nice playing here. Easy to check for tee times online. Staff very nice, carts in good condition. The course is a good test of your golf skills throughout your round, sand traps very challenging greens, very fun run. Will be back soon. Sorry no food cart... Oh well not a big deal for me. Drinks and food for sale in restaurant for you before, at turn, and at end. Breakfast Burrito is great! Fix your divots people keep the greens nice! 😀

Nice venue, great views. Greens and fairways well tended but soft and over-watered in many places. Staff friendly and helpful. Average mat-only range area. Carts clean and well maintained but "brought to you by the DNC" (save you from yourself). Small bar/kitchen, inside/outside tables, very limited menu, late opening ("8:30 or 9:00 a.m.") and early close--get your breakfast before you go there. Despite early close, the afternoon hostess really went out of her way to ensure our large group was taken care of before she locked up--well done by her.

Played course 08 September 2024. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food at the grill is also well priced and taste great. The course has great practice facilities for chipping, putting, and driving range. As for the course, it is in great condition. Tee boxes cut nice, fairways and roughs taken care of. There are a few patch spots in the fairways but what course doesn't. As for the greens, they are very soft but the greens roll true and fair. I've been in this course every year but I was very disappointed this time for their dishonest staffs and immoral attitude. I left my laser gps attached in the cart, so I called right away to proshop when I realized but their staff didn't report the lost and found. It is very disappointing to hear from one of my favorite course and from the sports place we all expect to be in sports mindset to be honest and fair.

Giving it 5 stars for the value. Paid $85 to play in december, the greens were outstanding and challenging but they would still check up. Fairways in pretty good shape, didn't notice any bad lies when hitting it straight. Some of the outskirts of the holes are rough so try not to hit there haha. No Cart girl, so buy drinks before you go out, if you are in to that sort of round. Compared to the $121 Redhawk is charging for the same t-time, I'd choose this place every time.

Great layout, testing fast greens. Speed of play was perfect. Didn't wait for anyone group. And nobody breathing down our backs from behind. Only bummer...the grill for food. They had no options but greasy chicken strips. I can't believe there menu is so bad with this type of operation. I just wanted a turkey cheddar sandwich...nope. Guess I'll bring own sammy next time!!!

The course is in great shape. For a Wednesday @ $55 and 70F, there was almost nobody on the course at 10:30. Really enjoyed the course. Greens were punched 5 weeks ago I guess. I'm ready to go back!

A little over my normal budget for greens fees but nice challenging course and all around Good time!

I have played this course numerous times with family and friends. The course is fun but mediocre. It’s in a convenient location but the upkeep is poor. The bar and grill area is always closed no matter what time we come. There is rarely any paper towels or soap in restrooms. We’ve had a couple run ins where the customer service has been poor.

Very well maintained course, fast greens. Not a “long” course but challenging- you must be able to control your ball in order to succeed here! Pro shop, driving range, excellent grill..my favorite course in the area!

Nice course and staff, play was extremely slow, a Marshall would benefit them. The sand traps had the most beautiful, white and fluffy sand I had ever experienced.

Great course overall. Pace of play was appropriate. Greens are in great shape. Driving range is good, could use some more mat tees. Plenty of pitching and putting practice areas. Staff could use some customer interaction training but they aren’t unprofessional. The food was fast, fulfilling and adequately priced when swinging in after the front nine. 3 rounds down and will be continuing to book more with my friends.
