In summary

Camillus Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful landscape, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the challenging layout and excellent amenities, including a new clubhouse. However, some golfers have noted issues with uneven tee boxes and occasional customer service challenges, such as unclear policies and staff interactions. Despite these concerns, the overall experience is generally positive, with many appreciating the course's condition and scenic views.

Wholeheartedly echo the previous reviews. Good little track, tee boxes are janky at times and fairly uneven. Overall condition is good though. But the greens are impossible to hold a shot on. Which is fun but frustrating.

Great course that is a little out of the way. Everything is well maintained and the new clubhouse is great. The greens are all well kept and you are definitely going to have a good time.

I usually don’t write bad reviews, but my recent experience at Camillus Golf Course was so frustrating, I felt compelled to share. Firstly, as soon as we arrived (730am) there were no signs or any indication that carts weren’t allowed to go to the parking lot. So like most courses without the signage I brought my cart up to my car to pick up my bag. We were immediately confronted by a maintenance guy who was rude and unhelpful. Continued to give us attitude despite us saying we didn’t know because of the lack of signage you couldn’t bring the carts up. It’s a simple detail that was completely…

Nice course. Lots of elevation change. Really nicely laid out. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Tee boxes were a bit odd-- many of them had humps in the middle. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoy this course.

Course is in great condition and a great challenger. The food in the clubhouse is almost not edible, disappointed.

Great course with wide fairways and deceivingly fast greens. One of the best looking and well kept courses in the Syracuse area. Take advantage of the steep, downhill fairways to crush some 350+ yard drives but keep your approach shots aimed at the fringe of the greens to avoid having the ball roll off the back of the greens. Absolutely love this course.

Course is in great shape. Landscape is beautifully manicured. Golf riding carts are the best in CNY. Staff is very friendly. Food is very good. Chef tries to make everyone happy.

Great course, have played 4 times this year already. Went today and the weather looked like it was about to rain. We asked the kid at the clubhouse if we would get a rain check if it started raining, he said if we weren’t able to finish the first 9 then yes. 2 holes in it started down pouring and carts were headed back to the club house. We went in for our rain check and he gave us a $35 rain check for the $50 we paid to play 18 and hardly played 2 holes. I questioned this and the kid was rude and said “that’s not what I said” about the rain check. With so many golf courses in the area there a…

It's ok. Not a flat spot on the course including the t-boxes. The t-box should always be flat.

Nice course, quick greens, challenging but not super tough. Was there for the annual Derek Town tournament, which was great again! Food was great, the new clubhouse was perfect for the event. Would like to try the food on a regular day. Next year we're coming a day early to play the course normally. Definitely a course to try.
