Reasonable price. Senior prices everyday which is unusual. Course is well maintained. Distinct fairways. Greens in excellent condition. Best part is the paved cart path., rarely see that in a non private club, never an issue where the next hole is. Multiple sets of tees. Paved massive parking lot. Easy off and on from rt. 690. Food is fine and they even have a cart girl on the course. Carts are electric and appear to be new, another plus. Ignore the negative reviews if your looking for an inexpensive round of golf in this area.

Course is in great shape. Best I've seen in years. Wish they didn't pack the course, to a 10-15 wait on each hole.

Good course with a friendly staff. Not extremely difficult but a good play. Restaurant upstairs had live music on Friday night. Their end loaded sammich was really good. We were just passing thru and wanted to get in a round in NY. Would definitely recommend.

Course was in great great condition and you can't beat the price! $35 for 18 with a cart before 2:00pm, $25 after 2:00. Friendly staff and good burger at the snack shack making the turn.

I've played here twice and here's my honest review: The course itself is worth 3 stars, but I have to downgrade significantly for the service. There's like 12-13 solid holes and the rest are typical, ultra claustrophobic holes that happen in a housing development golf course. The conditioning is okay and the price is decent. However, both times I've played, I called and was told to "just come on out" without a tee time. Mind you, both times were around 5 pm and both times there were issues. The first time there was just a ton of people waiting on the tee and the second there was a tournament t…

The Barnes Golf Tournament Sept. 8, 2025 was a great event. The golf event was well organized and well attended. My foursome loved the great cart paths and the smooth riding, quiet golf carts and the well maintained greens. Thank you to the staff at FoxFire Golf at Village Green.

Paid $180 for a group of 4 people to play 18 holes with a cart the owner was very disrespectful. Look at our group came up to us screaming real golfers do not play this time of the year only “hackers” do. He was screaming and swearing for no reason. I do not recommend playing at this golf course if you are looking for a good outing.

Worst golf experience of the year. The course itself was pretty good, but the experience was horrible. Made a tee time for 1030 to play 18 holes days before because an out of state friend was visiting. Hole one is okay, there's a group in front and behind us. When we get to hole 2 there was a log jam. The groups at the tee box informed us there were two groups of new golfers and another twosome all behind a tournament. So we waited for about 30 minutes. It never picked up pace. We made it to hole 7 and a groundskeeper told us to play best ball and move on because another tournament was startin…

An enjoyable course and relatively challenging compared to nearby public courses, in my opinion. Reasonable pricing and pretty easy to get on. Convenient location close to Van Buren Rd exit ramp from 690. We have our annual company golf outing here every year and it rarely disappoints. Restaurant, bar and banquet area on site.

The greens were all in good shape as well as the fairways. Some very challenging holes. Over a fair course not many hidden tricks. Club house is decent with a nice bar and dining area.

This course is amazing. I can't wait to play it again. Fairways and greens are very well maintained. And definitely a challenge. The drink cart girls come around often so on a hot day that is nice. Reasonable prices for such a nice course.

One of the best courses in the area. Great pro shop and restaurant. The course is kept in tip top shape. The owners are very friendly, I know it was one of the best job's I've ever had. And this photo taken by the driving range, I put that fence in and stained it. Top notch 5 stars all day long.
