In summary

Hickory Hill Golf Club offers a variety of amenities, including a miniature golf course and propane tank refills, which are appreciated for their reasonable prices and friendly service. The mini golf course is noted for being enjoyable and unique, although some visitors find the main golf course poorly maintained with issues like patchy fairways and unresponsive staff. Additionally, there are concerns about management, slow pace of play, and inconsistent customer service experiences.

Had a good time playing miniature golf here with my family - prices were reasonable and the course was fun, even when it started raining on the back 9. A Simple beginner course, nothing fancy. Good place to go if you or your kids have never mini-golfed. You might have to check in with the ice cream shop first, they’ll help you get set up.

I can't speak to golf, mini or otherwise, but I can tell you the propane tank refills are awesome! Service is quick and friendly. If somebody isn't at the propane station when you get there, they will be pulling up on a golf cart within moments. Alternatively, just set your tank down on the bench and walk inside the shop. Facing the refill station, it's off to the right in back. Just follow the sidewalk. In the short time you are off paying for the refill, the attendant will likely have your tank filled and ready to go. Not to mention the prices are the best around.

The only good thing about this place is it’s the only golf range around. Other than that the place is a disaster. The balls are absolutely horrible. The course has absolutely no supervision. There is literally no Etiquette enforced by the employees. I tried to play there and the woman in the shop lets a 6 person group out with 3 carts. I asked her why she would do such a thing. She said, oh they will let you go through. We get on the 1rst T and waited 15 minutes. Then they T off on the 2nd hole with no acknowledgment of our group of 3 right behind them. I drive out to the 2nd green and explain…

Can only speak to the quality of the golf course as I have not patronized any of the other facilities they have on the premises. The course was well kept but not well landscaped. There are not many hazards and most fairways are open on either side. Good place for a practice round, although the weekend rates are a bit expensive.

They refill propane tanks. Cheap and usually no lines. The mini golf and ice cream stand are nice additions to the golf course. The restaurant was good but that was a few years ago.

Hickory Hill Golf Course – A Swing and a Miss If you’re looking for a warm welcome, keep driving. The person answering the phone at Hickory Hill sounds like they’d rather be anywhere else, and after speaking with them, I felt the same. Rude, dismissive, and just short of hanging up — it set the tone before I even pulled into the lot. The course itself? Let’s just say if I had tried to destroy it out of frustration, no one would notice. The fairways are patchy, the greens roll like gravel, and the whole place looks like it gave up years ago. It’s the kind of track where lost balls are less of…

We had a fun time playing mini golf here. The girl working there (who came over from the ice cream building) was very nice and friendly. They have long-handled clubs available for taller people, so we liked that. The course is interesting- in a good way. Each whole seems to be custom-built. We have been to all of the mini golf courses in the area, so we usually recognize the standard mini golf set-ups. This place is unique, and the greens are pretty extensive for mini golf. The long distances to the hole give added challenge and make the game more fun. There were many wonky spots around the ho…

“Leagues end at 6” we got there at 5:50. We said “no open golf” the guy said “no not unless we want to wait 45 mins” We then said “can we come back after the league ends in 45 minutes? “ he said “nah, probably not, it’s going to be too late” Not sure if the guy was having a bad day or not but What a joke. Will never come back again.

I love this course. It is well maintained and the staff is friendly. There's 4 par 4s for each 9 holes, and almost all of them are drivable. You can play 9 holes, walking, in about an hour.

Never seen a golf course so empty and have and old guy in the pro shop tell me there’s leagues happening right now it’s Tuesday. The board right in-front of him says Monday Thursday leagues. Guy gives me the rudest response like i’m an idiot. No wonder this place is closing there’s 4 people at the range and about 6 cars out front. Not a single person on holes 1-5 this is now multiple times he’s done this. Don’t know if the concept of different days means different schedule gets through this guys head.

I’ve been going to hickory hill from time to time for about five years since coming to the Baldwinsville area and can’t say enough bad things about this place, worst golf in Syracuse (greens are bad, fairways are up to your knees, and carts are rattling themselves apart), the ice cream is pretty awful (got soft serve multiple times that was hard as a rock) , the mini golf course is falling apart and is basically just putting on concrete . Plus guess what they overcharge you for everything (trust me a small soft serve is almost 5$)! Not to mention the owner is one of the rudest people I’ve met!…

Extremely rude staff. Pray on people who try to sneak a round in before a storm. Showed up at 10:30 am to play 18 with the forecast calling for rain at 2pm all day. Storm came early and with the snails pace of play on this course we had only finished 9 holes. Keep in mind this is a shorter course it should be fast play. They let groups of 4 go off the back cutting in front of people waiting to play. Pretty much scam you any other course you ever go to is willing and ready to provide a rain check whenever you want. I already paid for it what does it matter to them? Extremely poor condition shor…
