Canasawacta Country Club

The course is a great course. Fun. But recommend you don’t run in to the owner. The owner is cheap. Doesn’t have any common courtesy when it comes to golfers on his golf course. He will mow fringes and greens in front of you for a whole 18 holes, turn sprinklers on, when you or your clubs are on or around the green and doesn’t care if they or you get wet. He is not afraid to interrupt you during your round for any reason. I’ve witnessed it as been a part of it. I’ve been a member on and off for acouple years for these reasons. I have eaten there several times this year. Every meal has been delicious, the service superb, and the drinks well made. The steaks get done to perfection. The beef stroganoff was great. Salmon was top notch. Our waitress Heather was always efficient, fun to talk to, and just the right amount of attentiveness.

Good course, GREAT food (they continue to outdo themselves!), great staff, magnificent environment!

Facility is nice and the course looks great. Wish the wifi was a bit stronger, but not usually a problem.

Very nice course, well maintained and CHALLENGING! Sloped greens and drastic elevation changes make this a tough, yet enjoyable course with some beautiful views. However the staff is difficult and treats paying customers poorly. I've golfed many courses and country clubs and have never been treated as badly as at Canasawacta. The guy at the pro shop follows golfers and tournament participants to make trouble. Our foursome payed approximately $400 at the course in 1 day and still got harassed by this guy. Fun yet challenging coarse, but will never willingly choose to spend my money there again. For the cost I don't need to be followed around or treated like a child playing. They will literally follow you around the course... again for the price I don't need a babysitter.... Not once but multiply times... hundreds of dollars income doesn't matter either, glasses guy from the pro shop will tell you to hurry it up regardless of players behind you. I've played much more prestigious courses who treat you much better and don't follow you around and hurry you, let alone steal your property

Other than the pro shop staff not showing up for 40 minutes after the first tee time, the course was in great shape. Hidden gem.

Travelled from the UK to see friends in South Plymouth, and wanted to play golf. Played today and what a friendly club. Where both members and staff made you feel welcome. Golf course was in great condition

Fun layout. Lots of elevation change. Greens have a lot of slope. Tee boxes and fairways are fair at best. $50 is a little steep but a bargain with the group golfer rate.

Great course! Lot of challenging holes and sloped greens. Very nice and looking forward to playing again soon!

Had a wonderful Birthday lunch with two friends and Shane the B'day boy on the deck. Food was excellent as well as the service...great time will be back..
