In summary

Canora Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, reasonable rates, and friendly atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both beginners and families. The course layout is appreciated for its mix of long and short holes, and the amenities, including a seating area and food offerings, are well-received. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with staff, citing instances of rudeness, which detracted from their overall experience.

This was a great small town course! Couldn’t believe I had the entire course to myself. The greens were flawless. Pretty straight and easy fairways but the greens were fast and challenging to keep you honest. Definitely stop for a round here!

Rude front desk lady. Had to ask where the driving range is. So an older gentleman offered to show me and grabbed me by the waist telling me where to go. Nice course though

Play here 2 times in the month of July. Early & mid month. Greens were extremely slow the 1st round. This last round they had been cut down & were much faster. Great value course & easy for a beginner player.

Tee boxes and greens are pretty well kept. A few of the greens are patchy, but overall pretty good. Will probably dry out fairly fast, and might not recover for the rest of the year. Some fairways were pretty dry.

Edit: We haven't been here in a while and when I called to book a Tee time, Donna was incredibly rude. I understand there is a tournament, but you could say "sorry, there are no times available" instead of the "Um, we have a tournament, so... who is this?" then I reply with my name and she says "No." It was a very odd exchange. The course was in great shape and easy. My wife and I are not great golfers and always have a ton of fun here. The greens were also in immaculate shape.

I didn't golf, but riding by on my bicycle, it looks very nice.

Was visiting from B.C for a celebration of life. Called to ask if they had a driving range and if they are open. Was told yes. Arrived to be rudely told by some clearly drunk lady that they were not open because of a tournament. Would not recommend

Beautiful course in great shape. Friendly staff. And cold beer.

Staff was rude when I asked if I could play 18 (solo) starting at 6pm with a cart. Inconsiderate fellows on the course and a demeaning and condescending staff will ensure that I never play there again. No wonder they are offering cheap green fees... nobody wants to be treated like a child. If I could give zero stars, then I would.

First and last time going here because of that old lady that works there she was so rude right from the get go, not welcoming at all specially for first time being there, and she just killed the vibe felt bad for my friends that are from out of town but other than that It was overall a nice, greens are well maintained, and can’t complain for the price. (Staff def triggered me)

The prices can't be beat. They have 2 for 1 coupon offering. The greens are as good as any public course in the province. Highly recommended for families.

Nicely designed golf course with a good mix of long and short par fours and fives. The course has a nice seating area outside the clubhouse.
