In summary

Canyon Estates Golf Course, also known as Indian Canyons Golf Resort, is highly praised for its well-maintained, lush fairways and greens, as well as its scenic layout that caters to various skill levels. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall experience. While the course generally receives positive feedback, there is a notable criticism regarding management practices, particularly concerning unexpected course closures.

"Had a fantastic experience at Indian Canyons. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and the course is incredibly green and lush. You can really tell they take great care of the property. A really nice atmosphere and a pleasure to play here."

Please don’t let the shoddy satellite photos from Google Maps throw you! It’s beautiful! Great conditions with challenging approaches but resort style allows you to mainly keep it in play. Around 5-6 forced carry over water approaches keeps it interesting. Great staff and maintenance crew. Tip your cap to the hard workers on the course!

Had not been here since the renovation. Very nice upgrades. The banquet hall is gorgeous with spectacular views. Here we held our 1st Gala in Honor of Section 14 Survivors and Descendents. I had the privilege of escorting my mom We shared memories all night. The laughter did not cease at table 9. The service team was so helpful, pleasant and timely.the evening went off without a hitch and we had a glorious time. Our food was on point. Not dried out and beat up .. am trying to come through for lunch. views alone will bring you back. Drinks and food will keep you. Enjoy!!!

★★★★★ Indian Canyon Golf Resort... South Course is an absolute gem. The fairways were in perfect condition, lush and well-maintained from tee to green. The greens? Pure. Smooth, true rolls and just the right speed, you can tell they take care of this course. It’s a fun layout with a great mix of holes and some beautiful views throughout the round. Whether you're out for a casual round or chasing a number, this place delivers. Can’t wait to come back!

Indian Canyon is a nice golf course that is located in Palm Springs. It is a desert type golf course, so there grass and vegetation is situated for this environment and one may not be used to these. The course is well maintained and looks good. Most of the course is relatively flat, but a few hole you will be hitting down onto the fairway. Tee boxes: Most tee boxes are nice, some the grass is a bit thin, but still alright. Fairway: The fairways are good, nice grass. Of course, this is were you want to be. There are a few dirt patches or spots were the grass has not grown back, but just a few…

Played course on 21 January 2025. I was met with great service in the parking lot by the gentlemen waiting. He brought a cart to my car for convenience. I was then met by a very nice lady in the pro shop who made me feel welcomed. The ladies at the bar were also very welcoming and helpful. As for the course it is in fantastic condition. The course is so green. Tee boxes are level, fairways cut to perfection, bunkers well maintained, and the greens are well kept and roll true. The course has a pretty nice layout with some dog leg challenges. The course is not extremely difficult which allows yo…

I loved this course until today. It was my home course. It’s a great course. However it appears to have been hijacked by a GM, Greg, who has a bad reputation among the regulars and the employees. The sprinklers turned on with an hour of sunlight left. We had three holes left to play. It doesn’t appear that Greg gives a shit about paying his employees overtime til the sun sets. It doesn’t appear Greg really cares about golf etiquette at all. I’d love to speak to this new owner Greg who is nowhere to be found and owes me my money back for a round cut short with no prior notice. We were never inf…

I had such a great experience at Indian Canyon Golf Resort - South Course. The service was truly five-star from start to finish- warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. As a woman golfer, I really appreciated how friendly and approachable the course felt. The layout is enjoyable, scenic, and perfectly suited for players of all levels, without ever feeling intimidating. It’s a beautiful place to play a round, and the positive atmosphere made the day even better. I’ll definitely be back!

Indian Canyons Golf club is a beautiful property - the fairways and greens are very well maintained, the on-site restaurant is very nice, the practice facilities are great. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. The course is challenging enough for me, without too much water coming into play. There are several tee boxes to choose from. We played twice here, loved this course!

This was the first course I’ve played in Palm Springs and I would definitely go back. I played the South course from the second to the back tees (teal), which was just under 6,300 yards. Fairways were very large and forgiving and a few tough holes that made some decisions on how to manage your shots. The course recently reopened after maintenance so the greens were very very slow, but everything else was in excellent condition. For the $135 price tag on a November weekend, I would definitely come back!
