In summary

Cardinal Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained courses, particularly the challenging East Wing and scenic Redcrest, along with modern amenities like GPS-equipped carts and clean facilities. However, some visitors have experienced issues with customer service, including miscommunications about booking policies and event organization, as well as dissatisfaction with food quality and handling. While many appreciate the overall experience and professionalism of certain staff members, others have noted areas for improvement in service consistency and responsiveness.

I played the East course at Cardinal Golf Club on August 3rd, and it was in excellent condition. The layout was challenging but very enjoyable, with a great mix of holes that kept things interesting throughout the round. I really appreciated the clean facilities and practice range, which was perfect for warming up before our 7:30 AM tee time. Pace of play was smooth — no delays at all — but I do have to ask: when did it become okay for golfers to blast music on the course at full volume? A little courtesy goes a long way. The only real hiccup came at check-in. I had booked the round over the…

Very classy place. You can always tell by the washrooms! The grounds are well maintained, the carts are equipped with modern touch screen GPS, scoreboard and rangefinder. Keeps you updated on how your pace is going. Also, you can order food from the clubhouse 😉⛳️🏌‍♀️🌳 They had some great deals at the pro shop and got Bae a golf shirt to remember today. #dontjudge #weekendgolfers

One of my top go-to course. I personally prefer the East Wing the most, as it is more challenging. The first hole of East Wing is iconic. The people I brought to cardinal always end up loving the course. The clubhouse is also very beautiful. The only thing I think can be improved on is definitely the cart paths. It needs some fixing for sure. Otherwise, I’ll always be willing to drive 45 minutes to play at this course!

I always have a great time playing at Redcrest. Its a very scenic course with lots of water. The fairway conditions are pretty good too. Very soft and pleasing to hit off of. Love the wildlife on this course as well! I encountered a Deer, Bisons and Swans. The East and West course is more on the mid tier level. I still enjoy the courses, but they definitely don't have as premium of a feel as Redcrest.

Terrible for organizing a tournament. Set up was a nightmare. Communication is awful. Tournament was set in the beginning of September and the course was an absolute mess. Tee boxes were ridiculous. Divots everywhere/ sand was all over the tee box, no grass. The starter was incredibly rude acting like he ran the place. Poorly organized. Do not book tournaments here. Not worth the price at all.

Yesterday my friends played East Course. My tee time was 1:24 pm and friend bought Panini and ate before tee-off. He paid $13 + tax and 15% tip too. When he ate it, he felt it was too cold, stiff and not tasty. But he was hungry he ate half of it. We started playing and he felt uncomfortable in his stomach. He felt gas in stomach. Unfortunately at 7th hole there was no washrooms, he could not resist to calm, rushed to Bush and make it free. After golfing we go to restaurant and told couter about this food problem and returnd half of the food. We expected any explanation or sympathetic apologiz…

We attended Cardinal Golf Club’s Easter brunch in April 2025, having enjoyed this event in past years. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. The buffet was overwhelmingly seafood-focused and very limited in scope. The majority of the offerings consisted of pasta bar dishes with seafood mixed in, a single cooked salmon, and what appeared to be leftover potatoes from another service. As someone who cannot eat seafood, I was unable to eat anything. The food quality overall was poor and did not feel fresh. At $80 per person, the value was simply not there. I raised this iss…

I had a very disappointing experience with Cardinal Golf Club regarding their handling of a cancellation. My group had a tee time booked, but I was unexpectedly called into work. Fully understanding the club’s cancellation policy, we still called ahead to see if there could be any flexibility. The staff member I spoke with specifically assured me that a credit would be issued and that I would receive confirmation by email. My playing partners were still willing to try to find other modes of transportation there given I was going to be driving but based on the information I received on the pho…

We cannot recommend Cardinal Golf Club enough! From start to finish, Amanda, the Event & Sales Manager, went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly special. She was so easy to work with, always prompt in answering our questions, and made the entire planning process stress-free. Our outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and Amanda even guided us to the best spots for photos, which made our memories even more perfect. The entire Cardinal team was professional, kind, and attentive—every detail was handled flawlessly. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you, Amand…

The course itself is amazing, i love both west and east wing both very scenic and fairly good conditions. Some of the course marshals and starters like Harry however are unnecessarily rude. One of the marshals rushed us to hurry up on 4 separate occasions even though there were groups ahead of us, this caused every single one of our scores to dwindle drastically. After the round i talked to the groups before and after us and they also found that they were very unnecessary and rude. We finished our round in 4 hours and 4 minutes we were on pace the whole time.

Honest Review from a former RedCrest Member. As a 2023 season member, thought I would write this very honest review highlighting the good and the not so good of Cardinal Golf Club. Joined RedCrest as an afternoon member prior to the 2023 season. Afternoon membership fees were fair and competitive to others in the area (other than the $500 clubhouse minimum spend which wasn’t ideal but I comfortable with). The course itself was well maintained throughout the year, tee boxes were well kept, greens were consistent and rolled true, and members did their part in helping with the upkeep. Overall,…

Nice golf complex with multiple selection of courses from Kettle Creek, Cardinal and Red Crest to meet everyone's budget. Often busy on weekends and mornings. Not easy to get in and out of the parking lot as Davis Drive (Hwy 9) is busy with fast moving traffic.
