Castle Creek Country Club

Hello, we drove by it every time we went to the casino. I always told my husband we need to go play there, finally he agreed with me, it needs TLC, I love the lay out!! The nice girl that help us, mention that the course is under need ownership, and they will be closing it for about 6 months for the TLC. I can't wait for the new renovation of the course to make it 1 of my favorite golf course to play ⛳️🏌‍♀️🙏

This is a fairly run of the mill course. I found the fairways to be in decent shape, but the greens were pretty beat up. The traps were well manicured, but the sand was rather hard. It’s a pretty long course, but not overly challenging. The facilities - bathrooms and such - are pretty beat up. That said, I only paid $25 and I finished in about 3 hours. Staff is friendly though. Below average course, but great value.

Not sure what to call this place but a golf course is not appropriate. The greens resemble the landscape of moon with deep craters that make your ball bounce all directions. The carts have so so little charge they have to be pushed up hills which is dangerous and annonying. The coup de gras was the pin stuck in fairway of hole 12, the green was so bad they shoved the flag into an arbitrary area making the hole the wrong distance and unplayable. Speaking of distance, good luck finding a marker..you will find yourself guessing distance on nearly every shot. We were terrified crossing the bridges…

This course is in horrible condition and they’re still charging full price. The clubhouse has been reduced to a vending machine. Fairways are riddled with damage from squirrels. Greens are apparently the only thing they water, which are individually watered by this truck towing a big water jug. Really sad to see this previously fun and nice course withering away.

Had a great time on this course the fairways were a little brown but the greens are getting worked on, the plus side it wasn't packed with golfer so we weren't rushed on our game. I had a good time and will come again and play some more golf here. Ps so far this is the only golf place that was iced water around the course witch is awesome because its vary refreshing!

No water. porta potty. Nice courts. Nice mixture of people. Variety of play level

Don't listen to these drama queens posting reviews. The course is great! Yes there are a few holes, especially 12 that have greens in rough shape. Very long course with some great challenges. Overall I was worried after my buddy booked us here and reading the reviews. Just be prepared for a few greens in need of some work. Cost us $55 for cart and 18. Decent rate for San Diego. Overall awesome experience. We will be back. Thank you Castle Creek for a great Sunday.

I love writing reviews because I count on others reviews. This time I didn't read any reviews and couldn't understand how a course was rated so low. Well, I played yesterday (3/29/22) & as much as I hate doing this, I have never seen anything worse! I just don't have words to describe. It truly looks like it is abandon. There ARE no fairways. The greens couldn't even be read if you laid down ON them...like the big boys do. Your ball didn't even roll before BUMPING all over the place. We didn't even finish. This is the worst course I've ever played in my entire life! Every single hole was dry, yellow grass with dirt and squirrel and gopher holes everywhere. You can tell this is more of a rodent sanctuary now instead of a properly operating golf course. "Pro-shop" doesn't sell golf balls, apparel or much else for that matter. Men's restroom was out of order. No restaurant anymore. Had to switch carts because our original one was out of juice. No cart/drink person. If you were in the middle of the fairway, your shot would kick up a cloud of dust and dirt and yellow dry grass. Only the greens appear…

Extremely unkept fairways, tee boxes, fringe/greens. Weeds everywhere and your ball will likely be unplayable in the middle of the fairway due to terrain and weeds. If you like to loose balls off of good drives down the middle, be my guest. It should be 10 bucks to play here, not 45. This course has promise if they invested in maintaining the course.

If you like playing golf on dirt, and ruining your clubs, this is the place. It’s sad to see such a great spot for golf and drinks get turned into a dirt lot. If only the owner cared about his business he would have many happy investors and a happy community that loves to play eat and drink at this place. It’s sad to see the owner turn a beautiful location into a dirt lot with the idea of “the property is worth more than the business brings in” mentality. Maybe that’s why they can’t book up T times.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star. I spent 52 bucks of my hard earned money to only leave after a couple of rounds because the conditions were so horrendous i couldn’t play golf. I brought 5 or so balls to hit out of their range box and when I picked up my balls to start my tee time the starter told me I was stealing his balls when they were mine. There were no balls in there to start. Worst golf experience of my life. Please don’t ever go to this course.
