In summary

Castlewoods Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, picturesque Jack Nicklaus design, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for golf tournaments and events. The clubhouse offers good food and a friendly atmosphere, though some visitors have noted that the male bathroom facilities and table conditions could use improvement. While the course and amenities are generally well-regarded, a few guests have expressed concerns about pricing and drainage issues in certain areas.

We held our NWR Cougar Club Golf Tournament here & it was the most seemless event I've ever done! Corey was extremely accomodating & the communication was exceptional. Mike & his guys went ABOVE & BEYOND to make the event run smoothly. They had everything taken care of before I even asked. The coolers were refilled & iced down, signs put out & picked up; you name it & they either had it done or were in the process of doing it before I could even ask. I've used 2 other golf courses in the area for different organizations & this was by far the best experience. If you need to host a golf tourname…

Serve great food here, the brunch on Sunday's is great. But, no 5 star due to the crummiest MALE bathroom I have ever seen. I mean Ive heard how the Female bathroom is great. If you are looking for a place to go eat with your buds, don't go here. You will have regrets. Rest is for restaurant. If you don't improve upon the quality of your MALE bathroom I will lower the star count vice versa. Edit: Recently this establishment has given a brunch option on their Sunday menu, and I'm going to be honest. I was disappointed with the food quality. This picture is not entirely representative, but it w…

Nice well kept course. We enjoy the clubhouse food and drinks, all very reasonably priced. They have one of the best burgers around. They always have a great bar staff, with not much turnover. So if you frequent here you can get to know the staff. I highly recommend the course, the bar, restaurant, and pool.

Challenging but fair course. It is maintained very well with smooth fairways, well placed bunkers and a rough that the ball usually sits on top of. The only negative is the greens are a little to hard to try and stick with spin, but they do roll perfectly for the putts. I highly recommend this course over others in the area!

This facility has gone thru a lot of turmoil the last few years. Appears it is turning the corner. Played there in May; greens and fairways have been greatly improved, bunkers are better, and drainage must have been improved as it was cart path only because of a ton of rain the day before; the next day we were off the path - I was impressed.

Beautiful Jack Nicklaus Design Course spread out over rolling hills, with beautiful scenic views on each hole. With 5 different tee markers, you can play the course as challenging as you prefer. Also a great environment for family and junior golf!

Great layout! We enjoyed that the holes were not on top of each other. You can play safe or get gutsy with most shots!
