One of my favorite courses in all of Michigan!! Always well maintained, friendly staff, and a good pace of play! A true diamond in the “rough”

Everything about our experience was positive! The golf course is in great condition. The fairways are tight and the greens can be tricky, but it was the perfect amount of challenge to make it fun. To top it all off, our Uber cancelled and the guys in the club house offered to drive us 30 minutes back to Grand Rapids. Good golf and good people!

Once again i git the opportunity to play at Cedar Chase and as always it exceeded all my expectations. The layout is challenging yet enjoyable, with beautifully manicured greens and fairways. Each hole offers stunning views, making for a picturesque round. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to the 19th hole. I especially appreciated the thoughtful course design that catered to both beginners and seasoned players. Overall, Cedar Chase is one of my favorite courses and a must-visit for any golf enthusiast looking for a memorable day out on the c…

Played 9 holes Sunday morning with a group of 3. Obviously it’s not an expensive course so I was not going to complain about the fairways being chewed up and the sand traps being littered with footprints. 4 holes into our round we were stopped by a guy playing on card behind us saying he was the course ranger? Not sure what that is but he was visibly upset complaining we were not raking the bunkers and replacing divots. Ranger Rick was either inebriated or just ignorant. We were not being disrespectful or demonstrating bad etiquette, this course was rode hard a put away wet long before we star…

Absolutely a hidden gem - beautiful setting; great layout (hole 1 is the strange one) and different types of scenery. Some wide open prairie, some tree lined. Staff is good and small but functional clubhouse (3 star), course condition was great and price is outstanding.

Terrible experience with their staff. Their employee sent us off on the front despite leagues starting a few hours later and they said he should have sent us off the back (so their mistake). They then asked if we wanted to play the front again (they literally said: the back is really hard. Rude) we told them no and they then tried to send us to a random hole on the back. The biggest issue: they were completely rude. A simple “sorry” would’ve had us on our way and completely understanding mistakes happen. They did nothing but argue when we asked for a refund because we didn’t want to jump all o…

Beautiful layout. Fairways are fair, well maintained and pretty with both tree lines and Heather grasses. A few challenging fairways for ball placement, however a doable track.

Fantastic course! The layout was challenging but fair, and every hole had something unique to offer. The greens were in great shape, and the pace of play was smooth all day. Staff was friendly and welcoming — will definitely be coming back!

Great golf course. Its a good challenge and will test your skills. Only downfall was the pins were not moved in quite some time as they were furry around the edges and the foot traffic around the cupswere pretty marked up. Remarkably fast greens otherwise
