In summary

Cherokee Hills Golf Club is frequently praised for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. Many appreciate the value for money and the scenic setting, along with the quality of amenities, including clean golf carts and a well-stocked pro shop. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, particularly in rough areas and bunkers, and a few have experienced scheduling and customer service challenges.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Birthday Golf Getaway at Cherokee Hills Golf Club As part of my husband's birthday weekend, we stopped into Cherokee Hills Golf Club so he could enjoy a few fun rounds of golf—and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The course offered great value and plenty of enjoyment, with the recent rains bringing cooler weather that made for a comfortable and relaxing afternoon. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere of the club. The golf carts were clean and well-maintained, and the pro shop had a fantastic selection of gear an…

I was on a business trip staying at the Hard Rock in October/2025. I didn't know there was a golf course. Some colleagues and I played here two days on a row and I enjoyed it. Friendly people at the pro shop, the Strata rental sets are a bit rough, so go for the Titlelist. We'll keep fairways and greens.

Tough track, but hitting greens here feels different than most other courses at this price point in my experience. I've played here around 10 times and every time I do I always walk away feeling like it's the best value in Tulsa golf. If you have a one star card (free at the casino) it's $50, $60 without. Conditionally it's a notch or two above the munis but still sits in their price category. Don't be a hero, play the whites. The course definitely plays longer than it shows on paper. Play to the back of green 1 (it really hurts your feelings when the ball rolls all the way back down into the…

Wow, what a great experience playing this lovely golf course full of interesting holes and in perfect condition. It is a must to play when in Tulsa. Dwayne in the reception is the most helpful and service friendly person we have ever met at a golf course (and we have played many) Many thanks to all staff. And don’t miss the great burgers in the bar.

Everything is positive on this course. Greens run true at a quick pace. Fairways are pretty wide and have good grass. I wasn't in the sand but the ones I walked close too looked in good shape. Greens fee aren't cheap but are reasonable and includes rangeballs to warm up. There is terrain but green to tee box isn't bad so it was a pleasant walk at 80 degrees. I teed off at 5:55 pm and finished 16 holes playing from the black tees before it got dark at 8:25. Planning to go back tomorrow earlier in the afternoon hoping to get through all the holes.

Club house charge us full price but he didn't check the time for twilight. After play 9 holes management provided us with free round of golf next time there. Course is a great course but very challenging very fast and hilly greens. But enjoy a chilly day of golf.

Has a lot of potential to be one of the top courses in OK but between the rough areas being 3' tall and greens that won't hold a ball placed 2 feet from the cup, it's taken a huge downturn in the past few years. Course conditions are about what you would expect from a muni. Bunkers full of weeds and rocks. Greens looking pretty rough, bare patches all over the course. One of the most difficult tests of golf in the state, unfortunately though it's caused by lack of maintenance and poor conditions rather than what the course could be.

Called from the hotel three times with no answer on Monday afternoon for a Tuesday morning tee time. The Golf course had a 200 man scramble Tuesday for an association scramble at 2:00 pm in 100 Fahrenheit heat and they rented the course all day. Golf shop won’t sell an early tee-time because they need every cart fresh for 2:00 and they have a hard time clearing the course from morning players. I offered to walk as a single at 7:00 am and was told no. Apparently, a single might not be off the course in 7 hours. Attitude was negative and dismissive. Asked about hitting balls early and was told t…

After over 300 different clubs played across 46 States this by far was the worst experience I have ever had on a golf course. When I called the clubhouse to make my tee time the person on the phone sounded like he could care less about his job. You could hear the attitude in his voice. I get to the course and he tells me I can go off 20 minutes early which I explain I would like to warm up. I haven't loaded up the cart yet either. I get to the putting green and starter comes running up to me telling me if I want to play I need to go now even though its about 20 minutes before my tee time. I tr…

Exciting layout with tough greens and memorable scoring opportunities. Excellent host for 144 man, 36 hole tournament. Beers are cold and the beverage cart accepts cards. The course appears to drain very well even after heavy rain. Staff was friendly and the course well maintained. Enjoy a round here!
