The course is generally well-maintained, with recent improvements to the greens enhancing the playing experience. All in all it's a fun course to play. I'm a beginner golfer and have only played maybe a handful of courses, this one I liked because the fairways weren't fenced in by trees and ditches so much, so that was nice, not having to look for my ball in the leaves. I will say this though, some of the greens were a little torn up. Other than that it was a decent course.

Friendly staff members as well a nice course. This is one of my favorite courses. With a little work this course can be one of the nicest ones around. Strongly recommend playing here for the price. Can't beat it!

9/14/25. While Im grateful for a cheap round of golf, I find it distasteful for Chesley to have a majority of the front 9 under maintenance and not inform me when I made the reservation last night. The gentleman at the register didn't also didnt warn us when we initially arrived and paid. Do better.

Dont waste your time. This course over books or just let anyone jump in anytime. I read reviews saying the same. I had a tee time I scheduled weeks in advance but to my surprise we had 4 groups trying to fight us for the 1st tee. The greens are a great reflection of how they do their booking, pitch marks EVERYWHERE!!!! I missed several puts due to the 40 pitch marks between my ball and the hole. I thought it couldn't be worse but after making the turn the greens keeper cut the sprinklers on in the middle of my swing (90 yard approach shot into the green) and wet the rest of the greens i had to…

This is a pretty nice golf course for the money. Greens are true and in decent shape. The problem is they do not take t-times. They overload the course and it ends up being 4.5 or more hours to play. I’m sure it’s good & profitable for the owners, but is horrible for players. Waiting on every tee box and every shot is ridiculous. They also allow 5-somes which only makes things worse, & there is no course marshall to manage time, pace of play & allow quicker players to play through. We were behind a 5-some and there were 3 holes in front of them empty, but they wouldn’t let our 3-some play thro…

Nice course, friendly staff, clean clubhouse. Good layout for a day. Love the water holes. I would personally like more bunkers. But it was a great time. I recommend it. My son really enjoyed playing here.

Currently on the 18th watching a group of 7 playing together.... Wouldn't let a twosome play through...let's not mention the group of probably average aged 60 year olds were hitting iron off the tee box for 400 yard par 4s. I didn't realize the Byron Nelson was held here this weekend. In all seriousness I just wish the courses could enforce people playing off the correct tees for their skill level and not let people play in groups of more than 4 much less on a Sunday. The course was in good shape though I just hated it took an hour and a half to play 5 holes because of a sevensome (if that's e…

For the money spent this was a great little golf course. The greens were a bit rough, but overall the golf course conditions were pretty good. The driving range balls were in good shape. I had one of my better rounds out here in a long while. I for sure want to come play here again.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great open layout with enough tough and easy holes, good greens, good price. Third hole is very short, but presents a different kind of challenge. Pace of play is the only issue. If you aren't in a hurry during busy times this is a true gem. Slower golfers tend to be respectful of faster players, but there can be a good number of slower players.

Nice course overall, only bad part is slow players not allowing faster players to play through. Be prepared to wait to play each shot because the group of 6 players in front of you are going to take their sweet time and the group behind you will be hitting the ball on top of you.

I have played this course many times and it was OK. They were recently closed for sometime to renovate the greens. It has totally changed the course for the good and the greens are phenomenal. Will be back soon. The renovation of the greens make this course so much better it is a great course.
