This is one of the best courses I’ve played in SC/NC area. A true hidden gem that was enjoyable, challenging and in immaculate conditions. The fairways were well manicured and forgivable. The greens were large and rolled really well. The staff was great and I would definitely recommend and play again!

A gem of a course tucked away off the less traveled path.Reasonably priced and worth the value. One of the better public courses in the area that offers challenging holes and great conditions. The greens are in excellent shape and are challenging for all skill levels.

Great experience. Course is in excellent condition. Fairways were plush in mid-summer, and greens were smooth and consistent. Obviously well-maintained. Compact layout that is easily walkable. Good pace of play at 4 hours. Very enjoyable day.

Chester Golf Club is a hidden gem. The rates are affordable for a course in such great condition. It offers a challenging layout that increases in difficulty as you progress from the front side to the back nine so be sure to get your tee shot under control before making the turn. There is a 500 plus yard par 5 that will eat your lunch if you're not teady. You can get ready at the driving range which also features a chipping area. The putting green is located just about 30 yards away on the other side of the pro shop. The staff is friendly and helpful. The biggest plus is that you can play a…

Bobby (aka Jerry Jones look-a-like) in the pro shop provided excellent customer service. Course has plenty of variety. Tee boxes a bit barren, fairways coming in, sand traps in great shape. Be prepared for slow greens - they are well maintained but make sure you get your golf balk to the hole - rolling 9-10 on the stimpmeter. Overall, a great experience.

My Fiancé had his Bachelor party here this past weekend. RUDE is the nicest way I could put it. Even though I called A WEEK in advance (that’s how soon I could schedule it) and let them know it’s a bachelor party of 6. They still rushed them off the course and was severely Rude to them the whole time, telling them they couldn’t do 3 people on one team 3 on the other it had to be 4 vs 2. Even though they were keeping up the pace of play and the players behind them were not even complaining! All they wanted to do was play golf. If I could give 0 stars this would get it! Chester Golf course ruine…

Great course, and awesome layout, however, online rates differed from what the actual rates were. Had a Saturday 2:10 foursome and was told via online booking it would be $45 per person and it turned out being closer to $65 per person. Slight discrepancy in price, and personally, believe the online rate should have been given, but the individual in the clubhouse didn’t seem to care.

Just met with Rohan for a swing analysis/training, must say I was blown away. Learned more in the short time I was there than the hundreds of hours of videos and googling I wasted. Rohan is down to earth and a straight shooter, I recommend him for anyone looking to learn about golf, get fitted for clubs, or just to tweak your swing to get better. In fact, I plan on bringing my whole family for lessons.
