In summary

Chippewa Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly and efficient staff, and overall enjoyable golfing experience. Many visitors appreciate the challenging yet accessible course layout and the good value for money. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with occasional course maintenance issues, such as aeration closures without prior notice, and the pricing relative to course conditions.

Went there for 9 holes with my family since the weather has been good, first time I've been to a course with real grass thus far. The service was excellent, friendly staff, and the beer carts were out very often (they had snacks and nonalcoholic drinks too which was great). We got back to the proshop and I had some of the best fish and chips I've had in my life (not sure if they're still serving it), but the food was incredible and brought out fairly quickly.

We played 18 holes. The staff are so welcoming . They put together a spare set of clubs for us and offered Tees. The course was in good shape apart from a bit of water on 17 and 8 but very playable and golf carts permitted. The Local lager was excellent, I think it was called Howler. We met the owner Kevin O’ Brian, really hospitable chap. Will go again tomorrow, we loved it. Excellent value for money. Thank you

I'd probably put it at around where it's at 4.1, but I'll give it 5 stars in support. Staff are friendly, greens are in great shape (best rolling greens vs Sauble/Pine/Wiarton). Fairways in decent shape too. The course design especially on the front is a bit meh. Despite the shorter yardage it is a course where you can hit driver quite a bit. Walkable. For the price it's fair given the green quality. Would come back.

Lovely course in a convenient location. Lots of parking. Friendly efficient staff. Consistent greens in excellent condition. 18 holes in 3 hrs 55. What's not to love here? I'll definitely be back!

We played with a group of eight with one of our group recently having a stroke and we’re prepared to pay for his round but we’re told no charge . Wow great service ! He played 5 holes and was very thankful . Long story short this course not only was in great shape but actually goes that extra little bit for its customers . We will be back with more golfers in the fall. Great job

Good lay out and good condition, price point is a little higher than value imo

Showed up to play golf only to find out that 9 holes were closed because they were aerating the greens. No warning on their website. Naturally, when we were coming around to play the back nine the tee was busy with players making the turn and people just starting. Decided not to play the back nine. They gave us a discount of $5.00 over the 18 hole rate. Felt cheated and disappointed.

Arrived on time to find out that the front nine was closed for green aeration and had the play the back 9 twice..backed up and super slow. No aplogies from the check in staff. Fees were very high for a course in this poor shape. Most sand traps filled with grass, t boxes a mess and fairways dry. A far cry from the way I remember this track..sadly won't be back.

Golfed the HOPE tourmanent in Aug 2022. Course was in good shape and it was the first year for 18 holes. Holy hotter than the inside of a cow but we had a ton of fun. The dining room air conditioner could have been cranked about 10 colder. :) The meal was delicious and my steak was done to perfection! A really enjoyable day with friends. Thanks!!

Except for the angry-at-life old women playing here today (think of a bunch of old feral rabid barn cats playing golf and you’ll have the right image) things were fairly good here. The greens were the best greens I’ve seen on a course this season, the fairways were in great shape and they look like they’re putting in white sand bunkers which will be very nice once finished (they should edge out the bunkers to give them ever greater contrast once the white sand is in). The staff was excellent and friendly and the price was great too. It was a free for all on the course because some groups were…

Course was very long and a lot of fun. They've blanketed the course in many seagulls to give it that authentic vacation beach vibe. Very realistic.
