Course was in good condition from tee to green. Lots of hidden breaks and slopes on the greens but very fair. Helpful staff everywhere needed. A great round is waiting for you. 🏌️‍♂️⛳👍

I restored a couple of statues for the owner. I can't say enough great things about her. She is an incredibly positive person. Always smiling.. such a relief to know that people like that still exist. I'd like to add that her staff was very helpful and polite. Very hard working crew. I have yet to play a round, but I'm looking forward to it. As the fairways and greens are kept in excellent condition. Clean and beautiful this course is.. I'm looking forward to playing here. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just a great environment.

Everyone working at the course was very friendly. Course was pretty open, so it seemed forgiving for newer players, especially since the rough was kept pretty low. There's not a ton of sand or water, but still plenty of challenge because the holes are long and plenty of turns/doglegs. Plus being open it is much more succeptible to wind. Greens are well groomed, putt very true, smaller, and pretty fast. Most greens are sloped so that if you don't hit the green it rolls down off. I liked the course design and found it challenging. I enjoyed my 18 holes very very much. 18 holes to walk is $25, $3…

I had some time In town and decided to play this course and I was not disappointed. I found very Friendly people and the golf course has beautiful views of Clarion county hills...nice course layout and challenging features. It plays about 6500 yds when I visited. The greens were in good shape and the sand traps (yes I was in a few) were maintained. The sand was typical heavy and clay like of Western Pennsylvania so don't expect fine white beach sand. The fairways were cut short and the roughs were not too long or troublesome. The course rough had some standing water but was expected because of…

I've been a member of Clarion Oaks Golf Course for 10 years, and the morning that is being referred to earlier in these posts, there was in fact frost on the greens and I do know that the earlier tee times could not go off due to the frost. How do I know this...? Because I was one of them. We had to wait over 40 minutes ourselves, along with several other groups, just to tee off. As an avid golfer myself I do know that you cannot mow or walk on the greens until they are free of frost. In my opinion, what i had witnessed was the owners of Clarion Oaks did everything in their power to keep every…

A group I belong to has frequented the Clarion Oaks Golf (nee Mayfield CC) for the last 19 years. Each and every time we've been treated professionally and personably. From Karen the owner to Mark the pro shop manager to Beth the supremely tolerant bartender-cook-waitress-psychologist-etc., the customer is always treated well. The course is always in good shape, and the greens are excellent--and challenging. (Don't be above the hole.) Though they aren't as quick as they once were back in the buffalo farm days. The front nine starts and ends in the open while the middle three holes meander thr…

Well maintained, good pace of play, fair greens and fairways. One surprising tiered green on both of the front par 5s reward great 3rd shots.

We had a Tee time for 20 golfers -- pre planned a month ago but when we arrived, we were bumped by a bigger group and had to wait 1 1/2 hours before teeing off. Also, they ran out of carts and kept blaming a late start because of frost but the temperature was 40 degrees in the AM? We will never golf here again.

Course was in pretty good shape. The greens were smooth but not too fast. Couple places where the grass was a little thin. Good value for the money.

Beautiful course. I would suggest this over high level or other courses in the area. Very nice, good golf carts, kind staff.
