In summary

Club de golf de Verchère is praised for its beautiful landscaping, well-maintained greens, and the unique contrast between its two 18-hole courses, which offer a mix of open and wooded settings. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the club offers a good selection of food and beverages, including their own beers. However, some visitors mention issues with bugs, standing water in sand traps, and the need for improvements in course conditions and amenities, such as the reception hall.

Love the Verchères course. Beautiful landscaping, not too tough but not easy either. Good amount of sand traps and water hazards with some narrow fairways

Went to Montreal for a Bachelor party and took a 45 minute uber to the golf course. Had a great experience there. But what gave this a strong 5 star rating was how helpful the staff and owner were in regard to getting back to Montreal. Note to everyone: make clear plans on how you are going to get back to the city. There are no Ubers. We were finally able to get a few taxi cabs to come after about 90 minutes, and the owner was nice enough to call his mother who picked the rest of us up and drove us to a metro station 25 minutes away. Couldn’t have been friendlier, would absolutely go back

Wow ! What a nice spot to play, we did the Madeleine, we'll maintained. Green were nice not too rolls and very green. First 9 is more open and along fields and second 9 is more into the woods with some funny holes. The pro shop is very exciting with large selection of beverages and food. They produced their own beers. Very recommended

Amazing place. Nice driving range, beautiful course, and great staff. Marc-Andre helped us get taxis home when we were stranded out here

Great place to play 18 or 36 (only pay cart for second) . Two courses, nice muni track. Only downside is the amount of bugs.. Not too shabby for a downside!

Two 18-hole courses here, and we played the Madeleine, which is like two different courses in one. The front nine is very flat and mostly straight out-and-back track. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in good condition, but several sand traps had standing water and/or hard-packed sand making them almost unplayable. The back nine winds through trees, much of which is lost-ball territory or OB if you hit a shot into it. There are more elevation changes, but nothing severe. You will want to note that some holes have some blind creek runs or runoffs in the fairways. The rough was a nice balan…

Fantastic golf course. Some very cool holes and with a nice contrast between the front and back 9. One of my favourite golf courses I have played. A very nice area to sit around after and enjoy a beer. Surprisingly there is no restaurant, but it still has a larger than normal variety of sandwiches and snacks.

Course Conditions and Food Quality need to be improved. Great beer selection though. Would not recommend for the avid golfer. Reception hall also needs an update. Not great for bringing customers. Overall, would not recommend. Good Golf everyone.

With two 18's available, tee-offs are always available. La Madelaine has their 9 first holes in the corn fields and the bavk 9 in the woods - wide fairways, challenging greens and a couple dog-legs. Verchères is in the woods from 1 to 18. Walkable if you're an active person otherwise a cart is suggested (same for Madelaine). Bring liquids and something to eat as you won't pass the bar/resto until the end. Early-bird tee-offs during the week, offers the least expensive rate. Has a league during weekdays and is known to host tournaments on weekends - calling a couple days prior is highly suggest…
