In summary

Cobblestone Golf Course is widely praised for its beautiful setting with lakeside views, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout that requires strategic play. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and accommodating nature, and the course offers competitive rates compared to other local options. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play and occasional maintenance concerns, such as slow greens or cart path restrictions.

Beautiful course with lakeside holes, rolling hills, and the grass was on par. The carts were a little old considering they have lots of junior programs and evening spark events. Overall a great place to play with lovely views and challenging holes with the elevations.

Paul and his team at Cobblestone were excellent to work with. Course is in good shape, greens are improving but remain very playable!

Very beautiful course and always a great time. The course is busy so be early for your tee time. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

In my opinion this place deserves a much higher rating. I’m from FL, but visit family in the Acworth/Roswell area somewhat frequently. Every time I come for a long weekend, I research all my options and play at one golf course. Two weekends ago I picked Cobblestone and it was far and away been the best I’ve been to. You can find some flaws here and there if you look closely, but for a sub $100, public course, good luck finding better!

How much better can golf get in GA? Amazing views with a need for course management. The greens are FAST so definitely putt around before tee time. Great pace of play and great service from the cart girl which is always refreshing. Rates were very competitive to surrounding courses during weekend mornings.

Great time. Course was in great shape. Staff was helpful and everything was nice. Remember that you have to pay for driving range balls and you can’t bring the cart into the parking lot.

Best public golf course I have ever played hands down. Other public courses should look to them for inspiration. From the amazing course to the club house and cart girls this place had it all. An absolute breathtaking course with towering pines and beautiful lake views on countless holes. Challenging for sure but if you can control your ball it is so much fun. Make a tee time plenty in advance as it does book up quick.

Beautiful and challenging course no matter how many times you play it. Great location with many holes right on the lake. Of course, that means water hazards. You’ll surely encounter wildlife on this course too if you allow yourself to look around. The greens are well maintained throughout the year. The course is walkable but it will be a good exercise.

Cobblestone is one of the best public courses in metro ATL. It always is in good condition and the views on the lake are incredible. The rock formations make for an amazing feel as well. The layout of the golf course is above average for sure. The greens in December were slow and hard to roll pure. Lots of bumps and the cups weren’t cut very well. Not a deal breaker. Great place! Service, about average for a golf course. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏾🐺

With all the various reviews that I read about this place I was skeptical to play there but I had to see it for myself. When I played here I was absolutely surprised at the condition and the layout of the course. This course is in much better condition than other courses in the area (even private) and it’s half the price. I almost want to say that the condition and the layout of the course reminds me of a championship style course. Fast greens and tough pin locations. I definitely will return again! Thanks for the great experience Cobblestone!

Played it for the first time this past weekend. Front 9 has a couple holes with beautiful views surrounded by the lake. The course is a good test for being not too long. The greens were pure, there was very little rough and a lot of undulations. I like a course that you will use every club in your bag. A friendly staff as well, with a good pace of play. Bonus review. The beers were a good deal. Only a couple $ each. Went with the chicken fingers tossed in lemon pepper after the round.

Awesome friendly staff from the course to the clubhouse. Special shout out to Michelle though. She’s extremely personable and friendly and just the cheer up I needed turning to the back 9.
