In summary

Collins Hill Golf Club receives mixed feedback from visitors. Many appreciate the challenging layout and courteous staff, with some noting the course's fair condition and enjoyable play. However, frequent criticisms include poor maintenance of greens and cart paths, slow pace of play, and inadequate amenities, such as the absence of a starter or marshal and limited on-course facilities.

This is by far the worst course I’ve ever played, craters in greens, patches that look like cow skin. And awfully designed holes. Would not be surprised it this course went bankrupt within the next 3 years. (And I honestly hope it does) Honestly, I wish I would’ve taken more pictures to show. But trust me there is a lot worse on this course. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE.

A great course. Very good condition from tee to the green. Friendly service. A tight course in a few places but very Fair. I like bunkers with real sand in them. Absolutely will play it again. If you are in the area, you should play it.🏌️‍♂️⛳🙌🙌🙌

Ok here's my assessment of Collin's Hill Golf Course: 1. It is a busy course in the morning and probably like that through out the day. 2. There is no starter and the tee times appears to fill up. 3. The fairways are nice in the middle but rough around the edges. 4. The cart paths are pretty beat up and give a rough ride. 5. The traps are hard and even have bits of concrete in them. 6. The front is a par 37 with three par 5s while the back is a par 35 for a total par 72. 7. One of the par 5 on the front and back can be reached in two from the blue tees. (The blue tees are the tip) I forgot wh…

Update: I received an email from Scott about the 5th hold flooding. It was apparently an irrigation valve leak. It was addressed and the flow of water to the green has now stopped. Thanks to Scott for responding to me so quickly. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Played the course yesterday for the first time. I have to say I was satisfied with the layout of the course. I only played the first 9 holes, but although it is not long, there are a few dog legs and hills that make the course challenging. In addition, creeks appear at the most…

Played here about a month ago and the greens were the best things. Today was another story. The greens were absolutely horrible. Hardly any grass, someone had been driving across them, divots the size of basketballs. It’s also easier to drive on the fairway then the cart path.

Not worth the price… also no one has etiquette on this course. There is no starter/marshall during the week (not sure on weekends). Had to skip two holes due to slow play. Witnessed a wrestling match/fist fight on hole 15, hope those guys made it home okay… will never come back.

Collin’s Hill Golf Club is an unmitigated disaster, with fairways that look like toxic dumps and greens that are a disgrace to the sport. The clubhouse is a revolting hovel, serving inedible slop in filthy conditions. The staff's outright hostility and gross incompetence make the experience intolerable. The course layout is a torturous labyrinth, seemingly designed to annihilate any enjoyment. Charging money for this abomination is daylight robbery; avoid this hellhole at all costs. By the way this picture is where you will be playing.

I have been playing this course for almost ten years and I have seen a gradual drop off in the quality of the course. After playing there yesterday, I feel obligated to finally expose this place. The price that is charged for the course is not reflected in the quality. If you have any sort of back or neck problem then I highly recommend that you stay off the cart paths are they in absurdly bad shape. The front nine is playable, except when it has rained recently. You will find flooded greens, holes and cart paths. There are also a lot of trees that need to be trimmed back as they have grown mo…

Terrible Course. I paid $198 for 3 people. No water was provided on any holes. Half of the cart paths on 7 different holes are gravel. Cart died on the 11th hole, and it took 15 minutes to get another cart. More than half of the greens are black. I will never play on this course again. Save you’re money go to Reunion.

Very below average experience here. The highs: The snacks/food options are pretty good. Standard sandwiches, but their hot dogs are exceptional lol. The staff inside are very kind. The average: Putting green was okay. The course was in okay condition, some tee boxes could use some work. They were at least somewhat level/even. Tons of mud on the way to Hole 2 that stinks to high hell. The greens were in okay condition as well. The worst: Pace of play on the day I played was around 5.5 hours which is kind of insane. Saw a marshal only at the start, but no one patrolling the course. No water s…

I think the course over the past few years has been in great shape! I've playing here off and on over the past 10- 11 years and this is the best I've seen. I got three rounds in since Saturday and and no complaints we all had fun. The best staff around.

Cartpath only at nearly 3 o clock tee time, they took our money was not told anything up front or we would have saved the gas by not coming. There was no standing water on the course. Pace of play was so slow we had to skip 2 holes just to get done before dark. No grass on any of the tee boxes, basically like teeing from a fairway bunker. Greens were pitiful, Poa Anna growing wildly throughout most of them. Then one poor green (pictured) was missing chunks of turf. We drove over an hour to get to this place and this was the 1st time I have ever played here. It will also be the last. Also the s…
