Country Club of Scranton

Wind was brutal so it impacted the full experience, however the course was in awesome shape. Difficult track with a great layout, deep bunkers being in tough spots, some nice tight driving holes and lightning fast greens. Greens all protected and almost all have runoffs if you miss, leading to lots of opportunities to putt from off the greens. This is definitely a course where it pays off to have played before, simply because of the greens, which rolled very fast but completely true.

What a two day golf Pro Am Tournament benefiting the Childrens Hospital! Sponsors were fabulous and the Club was the best to host this event. The food, the servers, all were spectacular. They left nothing out. Live music on Friday night was an excellent choice. All patios have a fabulous view. Golf course is in fabulous condition. Winner in every department!

THE COURSE is Outstanding. simply an uderrated one. Rankings of courses: 1. Sleepy Hollow 2. Royal Aberdeen 3. Oak Hill 4. Kings Course at Gleneagles 5. Worcester Country Club 6. Stanwich 7. CC Scranton 8. Bethpage Black 9. Wannamoisett 10. Carnoustie. yes IMHO better than Aronomink.

Attended a team gathering there. The pool is great! My kids loved it! The service for the food was a little on the slow side.

Great venue for a wedding or any event. They have an exquisite building, beautiful grounds, amazing staff, and delectable food. You can smoke on the patio and they can accommodate just about anything you want, wherever you want it. For example, we asked for a pop-up bar outside the day of the event so people didn't have to go inside, and they immediately propped one up for us.

By far the most luxurious country club in Scranton and in NEPA. It's consistently ranked as one of the best courses in the state. The electric golf carts are rapid and quiet. The pool is enormous and has multiple fun facilities attached to it such as a water slide! I've enjoyed dinner there on multiple occasions and the food is always great. Overall, an awesome Country Club!

Best golf course in the area - public or private. Like playing a US Open venue. Staff always extremely polite, even to non-members visiting from another club. Play it if you can!

Played many rounds with my father at CCS. Consistent quality of conditions. Appreciate the 'new nine', but the old course is what I play in my mind often. Staff and facilities have always set the standard. Sad day when pops passed...for one reason, I'll never get to play CCS again.

Pro was very nice Pro Shop was well stocked the course was in pretty good condition it was very wet the day we were there don't know if I'd go back it's a little expensive for what you get I play better courses for Less.

My family have been members here, going back to its inception in 1896. It's a well placed country club, with excellent golfing. Known to have Congressmen, Senators, Dr's & high standing businessmen alike on its members roster. Yet a comfortable place to belong for anyone or their family if the CC life is what you're seeking in the Scranton, Clarks Summit PA area. If it was good enough for my Great-Grandfather, my Grandfather, & my Uncle..., I can promise that you will love it there too. Beautiful mens only locker room w/bar, billiards, & cigars. My nephews graduation from 8th grade was held there. Beautiful property. Lovely Golf Course, at least the couple of holes I could see
