Country View Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained course, reasonable green fees, and enjoyable layout that caters to both experienced and recreational golfers. Many visitors appreciate the quality and affordability of the buffet, particularly highlighting the roast beef and mashed potatoes. However, some diners have expressed dissatisfaction with the buffet's variety and quality, citing issues with certain dishes and service inconsistencies. Additionally, concerns have been raised about unexpected price changes for events and limited beverage options on the course.

Gorgeous day, and the service was amazing! I played golf near the end of December, but the course was closed because it was between holidays. I was about to pay when an employee drove by and said, "Go play, it's free today!" Seriously?! They could've had a donation box or something, but nope! Not many places are that generous these days. Thanks, Hidden Hills, you guys are awesome! Can't wait to go back.

Very good value for the money spent. The food was good (roast beef, ham, chicken breast with vegetables and salad bar). There was a nice view of the golf course.

We have always had good buffet dinners every time we have dined out at Country View Golf course dining room. GREAT value.. We especially love their roast beef, chicken and ham buffet because they have amazing fresh mashed potatoes and gravy that accompany the meal. And their bacon topped Bloody Cesar's are amazing !! 100% recommend dining here on a weekend .. best place just outside of Chatham to get a great meal !!

Service was good and price was reasonable but only a few things on buffet was to my liking. Especially the cabbage rolls needed to be cooked longer. The chicken was tough and needed more flavour. However the roast beef was very good along with mashed potatoes and gravy too.

Went for brunch at the buffet on sunday of thanksgiving. We were informed that because it was thanksgiving the buffet would be $2.00 a person more. The server made it clear that there was NOTHING different on the buffet. No seniors discount was offered. It was just a blatant theft of money for the management. We USE to go two or three times a week to buffet but will definitely rethink that.

One of the nastiest "restaurants" I've ever been to. I use quotations because I'd expect a restaurant to make their own food, not buy boxed food from M & Ms and heat it up, leave it out all day, then serve it (I recognized some of the food being from M & Ms, lol). I have no problem with M & Ms food on a week night, but when I pay money at a restaurant I expect homemade food. The food was so bad that I have backed out of family engagements held at this place because I just can't justify spending my hard earned money for what tastes like microwaved food. Also, there were no vegetarian options.

Horrible service and not true to their word. My sister used their facilities for her wedding reception and at the end of it all they raised the price $4 per plate without any notice, charged them for linens that were supposed to be included and the night of the wedding started a toonie bar that was supposed to be a cash bar and then called us into an office to tell us we have to pay for it!! The owner was very rude and not professional.

We were there for a company christmas party, everything was really good. No issues with parking, the dining room was set up nice and the catered food was very very good. The setup to get the food was probably the worst thing.

Had a nice outing there today. The course is an interesting layout and in nice shape though I did find the greens a bit slow. The buffet was excellent and the service was great. I would play it again

Food is pretty good at a decent price. Golf course is in best shape it's ever been. 27 holes, pretty flat but it's open year round and the green fees are very reasonable.

Very cost effective golf. Food is great and also affordable. Very good balance between the challenge for the good golfer and playability for the recreational golfers. Again the food is worth the trip without golf.
