In summary

Ridgetown Golf and Curling Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors appreciate the course's affordability and consider it a hidden gem, particularly for those looking to improve their short game. However, some criticisms include the condition of the golf carts and occasional issues with pace of play, as well as isolated reports of negative experiences with other players.

Decided to come out and play with the guys while we’re in town for a cottage weekend! First time out for me personally on a course and made for a fun time!

Popped in here for 9 holes while in town for a meeting. They got me out right away as a single and the group that had just teed off let me play through, which was nice of them. Fairways were in excellent condition and the greens played at a nice speed. Nothing too challenging on the course, or front 9 at roast. Wish I had time to play the back 9 too!

The property has potential, but I wouldn't recommend the course to any reasonably decent golfer...perfect for seniors and juniors

There wasn’t a lot of info on this course and I was a little concerned that the availability of tee times indicated that this wasn’t a popular course, but what a fantastic find! Course is mature and in great shape. Lots of shade near the tee boxes, the layout was challenging and the small greens made it really interesting. If this was anywhere near a major city the green fees would be triple what they’re charging. Do yourself a favour and give this little gem a try - you won’t be disappointed.

Brought both my boys ages 10 and 13 to purchase their very first golf memberships. The young man working in the clubhouse was incredibly professional and accommodating and made them feel very welcome to the course. My boys and myself are looking forward to many years of fun here. This is a very good quality course for the price.

I like making the drive out to this course. Great people! The course is awesome, looks incredible! The course itself is a little more on the challenging side (more in the short game) for newer golfers but still fun! The only disappointment is my bad shots are really bad here and that's on me not the course. Decent beer choices, more craft choices would be welcomed though! Can't wait to go back for my next round!

The course is fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful. From teeblox to Greens the course is in impeccable shape. Fairways and the rough have some of the best grass density I've ever played on. The grass around the greens is Lush and very playable. The greens run true and are consistent and blemish-free. Very friendly members. I golfed with three who made me feel welcome, but if Golf North properties think I'm ever going to pay $27 for a cart again, they have another think coming. I travel and I golf alone and that policy change is grossly unfair. Too bad because I love this course, and Cobbl…

Top quality course and people. Anyone who grew up playing this course became very good at a lost art.....bump and run shots. If you want to work on your shot into the green and getting up and down you found your test, small but very well maintained greens. If you hit greens here all day you will have your share of makeable birdie putts. Hidden gem for sure!!

If you’re a young woman, don’t golf here. We used a rain check we had from last summer when an old man decided to say things about my outfit. Now here we are, letting 5 people go ahead of us, but one man (who wasn’t even close to us when we started our 8th hole) decided to ruin my first time out this year but telling us we’re “too slow”, and that I “need my bf to teach me”. This is my FIRST time out this year. Clubhouse did nothing about how this pathetic man’s behaviour affected our game, after we explained what happened, aside from tell us they’d speak to him. If I was an older woman, I GUAR…
