In summary

Cramer's Vernon Hills Golf is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and enjoyable course layout that offers a mix of challenges suitable for both beginners and more experienced golfers. The course is noted for its scenic setting and quiet atmosphere despite being close to a highway. However, some visitors have pointed out maintenance issues, such as rough fairways, poorly maintained tee boxes, and inadequate signage, which could affect the overall golfing experience.

Wow. What a great little course. Only a 40 minute drive from GB. Has a nice little driving range and large putting green. Very long course, and can be challenging in many aspects, yet fun with wide fairways. Sure, it's not a fancy championship type course, and sure, it has it's issues (glad i never ended up in a sand bunker). But for the price? You just can't beat it. Such a beautiful place and a great experience. Had a great time, shot well. My brother is a +5 golfer, I'm a +10 golfer, and we did 18 in 3 hours with cart. We will definitely be back!

It's an fun course and nice to have so close to home. One fairway crosses the entry road and a few other areas that could use better signage but it's easy to figure out with the scorecard.

very nice open concept type course fairways are a little rough but well manicured and still cut nice. green were very nice and according to the owner they put a bunch of work into there greens they looked good. It also surprisingly quiet and peaceful on the course for being so close to the highway. The cost was very reasonable 18 holes plus a cart was under $40.

Would never go here, showed up for 10:20 tee time at 10. Owner was not there and did not get there until 10:20 and said we couldn’t golf because of the rain that was coming, it did not rain a drop for the 20 minutes she sat there and talked to us. Definitely just wanted the day off.

There's good and bad, The good was their bar/clubhouse is nice, some holes have great scenery, alot of holes are long and you're able to utilize multiple clubs, the green speeds were ok and I'm sure if you're a beginner golfer you can have a great time. The bad was that their fairways and roughs were the same, it was more like all roughs and no fairways, the tee boxes weren't maintained very well and it's easy to get lost because there are no cart signs directing you where to go and it was very dry everywhere and we didn't even attempt hitting out of the bunkers. I see the potential and it…

Golf course was mediocre. No pro shop and it was a pretty wide open city type course lacking challenges for how open it was. Greens were rough with weeds in them affecting the ball roll; it was a little long slow green where it was cut. Tee boxes also needed some shorter mowing and tending too. A very country style course.

Fun course to spend the day on.You will adventure hills, water, trees curves and many of the fun golfing experiences. Naomi and Pete are Sweethearts so be sure to take a moment to meet them!!! The food is quite yummy as well. Great for couples and families.

Was in bad shape. This could be a nice course but needs a lot of TLC. Needs signs to tell you where to go to next tees. People working there were very friendly. Greens were in bad shape, especially on the front 9. Sand traps needed raking. No rakes around the traps. A lot of tees were in plopped in the fairways.

Enjoyed the course but couldn't get a drink afterwards, waited way to long and never did see the bar tender so we went elsewhere
