Cumberland Golf Club offers a scenic and approachable layout with a good mix of hole types. Fairways and greens are in decent shape, though not perfect. The biggest downside was the slow pace of play—it felt like every hole had a wait. Staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. A solid option if you’re not in a rush.

One of the worst courses in the Carlisle area. The owner Mowery has zero clue on how to run a business like other reviews on here mention. There are hidden fees that you will be required to pay when you show up. It seems they are money hungry. The course hasn’t been updated in 15+ years and the tee boxes are almost non existent. There are much better courses in the area with better rates. Our group will not return.

Surprisingly nice course. Greens roll pretty true. Tee boxes are OK. Could use some upkeep. Bunkers were actually pretty nice and easy to hit out of. Not an overly difficult course but smallish greens so you need to be accurate. Longer than most courses from the whites mostly due to the par 3s and 17/18. Good customer service. They have a ranger moving people along. Honestly the worst part was the patches of dead grass, divots and what not around the greens. Made it difficult to Texas wedge it in some places.

The staff was helpful. They have a pro shop and some hot and cold snacks. Their range is optionally self service and is pretty long. The cart path is pretty unique with tunnels under the highway. I didn't love the fairways, but I've definitely seen worse on area courses. It was pretty late in the season as well. The greens were pretty nice though.

Course was in good shape on 4/30/25. The greens were in excellent shape and the only complaint I would have about the course conditions would be that the tee boxes were ever so slightly overgrown. I’d like to see better signage for what hole you’re on especially for people new to the course but you find your way around fairly easy if it’s your first time here as it was mine yesterday. The restaurant had great food and the costumer service was good. I would recommend playing here.

Kind of your standard golf course, straight holes with not a lot of trouble. Rough was super thick due to recent rains. Greens were running very nicely. Fun driving the carts through narrow tunnels that go under the road. Not a lot that stood out as being different. Staff was friendly.

Partially my fault for going so early in the season but the course was barely playable. They shouldve probably waited to open

8 minute tee times here are atrocious. The entire course is backed up. Front and back. (it's a Tuesday 😭) Multiple groups on nearly every tee box. You would think we were playing behind a scramble tournament. Course conditions are decent. Tee boxes and sand could use some TLC.

Pace of play is terrible. On multiple occasions, we caught up to groups a head of us even if we waited for them to finish a par 4. Pin locations were terrible, almost off the green and on a slope. Tee boxes either had weeds or minimum grass. Range is old, and terf mats at the range should be thrown out. Price isn't worth it.

Played Monday and the course was in great condition. The fairways and rough are in the best condition we've seen it for a couple of years. Greens aren't bad (still a little bumpy/debris). Tee's look like most of them are growing in. Like the fact that you moved the red tees up so that the average woman, kids and older players have a fighting chance to make some greens in regulation. Nice to have carts that have windows again. Overall, a really nice experience.

Cumberland Golf Club is in great condition. It has some challenging holes, especially number 17. Make sure to stop at the Silver Lounge after your round. The staff is great and enjoyable to be around and the food is good.

Had a very bad experience with the course staff. The greens were in great condition, however, the staff was not great. Ended up not even finishing the back 9 because of their staff, after paying for the full 18 and more in their pro shop. Won’t be returning back to this course.
