In summary

Carlisle Barracks Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, with pristine fairways and greens, and a friendly, helpful staff. The course layout is appreciated for being accessible yet challenging, and the amenities, including a driving range and walking path, add to its appeal. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play and pricing, particularly for seniors, and a few have experienced customer service challenges.

Course is in good shape. In town today to pick up a bike. Have to take a day off. So I get to play a round of 9 here. Walked in and asked if there was room for a single walking. He said we can fit you in. Went out and got right on. Everyone was pleasant that I interacted with. Even the guy mowing the grass spoke to me as he went past. This course is nice and open and the greens were rather quick. Very enjoyable round today. I would recommend playing this course.

What a absolutely beautiful military golf course. From tee to green it's in pristine condition. I did not find one single area of ground under repair. Thank you to the maintenance staff and superintendent for you outstanding work on this course.

Great golf course. Well maintained. Everyone is friendly. There is also a 2 mile gravel walking path around the perimeter which is nice. They have a driving range too. You can also book lessons there.

I typically don't do reviews because I try to paint the whole picture which can result in a lot to read. I feel it's necessary right now. Let me start by saying the course is really nice, well kept and manicured. The price is felt like was kind of steep but I get it, you're paying for a quality course... we had a tee time for 11:18 we got to the first tee box at 11:10, we were given the okay to start. First 9 holes were good, hole 10 is where the negative begins. 2 of us are on a cart, the other two are walking. The two walkers are pretty good and consistent. We're on the tee box on hole 10 ge…

Really well kept course with above average fairways and greens. The driving range was large and very easy to find off the clubhouse. The chipping green and putting greens were awesome and really helped me get into form. If I’m in the area again I will visit again!

I must say they do take pretty good care of their course. Im less then dissapointed in the food though! 60-65 dollars for a scramble with lunch served only to be out there for 5 hours to come into no burgers, barely any wraps, the potato salad was horrible, potato chips not crispy at all, tasted like straight oil, the buns for the burger 5 times the size of the meat, they couldn't even put out cheese after waiting for them to finally bring out the burgers!! When i tell people there is an Appalachian brewing co. Restaurant there, people that have lived here their whole lives dont even know its…

Pennsylvania beauty at its finest. Wide course with long cut fairways and nice greens. Clubhouse restaurant and pro shop are really nice and for the prices is great value.

Be careful if you use golf now. We got screwed, friend paid twice for the round. Pro shop would not provide a refund. Surprised that rules aren't followed in a military related place.

Great course especially with the price. Greens were in good shape and the fairways were very nice. The carts were not the greatest no cooler or GPS but got us around the course pretty fast. The gentleman in the pro shop was very helpful and courteous. Place of play was fast at a little over 3 hours.
