In summary

Currahee Golf Club is highly praised for its beautiful and challenging course layout, stunning mountain and lake views, and welcoming staff. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained fairways and practice facilities, as well as the excellent clubhouse amenities. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and the high cost of play, suggesting that the pricing may not always reflect the course's state. Additionally, there are mixed feelings about recent management changes and increased development on the property.

Unequivocly one of the best golf experiences of my life! From the time you pull into the gate you realize this community is special. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel like I was not only welcome, but you would have assumed I was a member. The staff, members, ect were so hospitable! The clubhouse was as nice as any I have ever been in and the golf course was beyond expectation. the scenic beauty, tranquil setting with lake Hartwell and the mountains as a backdrop we're stunning. I had one of the best rounds of my life not only from a scoring standpoint but from an experience standp…

194$ to play this course and the greens were terrible! I understand sometimes you can have issues with the greens but my problem is that no one mentioned it and took my 194$ without laughing. Otherwise the course is a challenging course. Doubt we’ll return because of the 194$ pricetag and burnt up green. Should have been maybe 125$ max.

Beautiful views and a challenging golf course. Wide fairways and fast greens. The staff was very helpful and the practice facilities were outstanding. A private club so, you will need a sponsor.

Awesome golf course that is always in great shape. We have a guys trip here every year around Labor Day and the Course never fails to deliver! Try playing 17 from the back tee! What a golf hole!

I've played at many courses in Georgia, but personally, I'd choose this one as my #1 favorite. In particular, the staff is very friendly, the service is excellent, and the course conditions are superb, all of which were enough to capture the hearts of the eight players who joined me. I also dined at the restaurant twice, for both lunch and dinner, and the food was excellent, as was the service. Next time, we'd like to stay and play for a couple of nights. John in Atlanta

Beautiful views and a friendly staff. My main gripe is they have almost completely lost their greens which I understand bent greens are difficult to maintain in the south during the summer months but they fail to mention this is to you before you pay $160 to play their course. Bunkers were also in pretty poor condition. Fairways and tee boxes were great but for the price, I was anticipating much better conditions. Will play it again if they get their greens back but until then it’s not worth the price.

I played this track with a group of friends. They were accommodating and easy to work with. This mountain course was in great shape and not crowded at all. I felt the price was way too high for a weekday. Pretty scenery throughout the round.

Used to be a really nice place to go to. some of the original staff are still there and they are lovely, super down to earth. The property is gorgeous. However, management has changed and the focus is obviously on the rich and wealthy and being super high-end with dress codes and strict rules and regulations and tons of development that have changed the property not for the best in my opinion. I’m sad to see the nature being bulldozed over and Big houses being crammed in where ever they can be. Toccoa, Georgia is pretty rural and historically not the wealthiest of areas. The new vibe that’s be…

I had the great pleasure of playing golf today at Currahee. The course was in fantastic shape and that considering were in a month of drought. Greens were really good - good looking, well kept, and fun as in tough but a good tough. Blake was the consummate professional in every way and the staff were all very welcoming. If you have the chance to play this course and experience the Currahee Club, don’t take a rain check. - JW
