In summary

Oconee Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors. However, some players have experienced issues with slow pace of play and customer service, which can detract from the overall golfing experience. Despite these concerns, many find the course enjoyable and challenging, especially with its recent improvements.

Didn't get to play, but the course looks great. We spent quite a bit of time with the pro and several players who gave us great information about the course and the area. We are looking at relocating to the area and would definitely look to join this club as soon as we get here!

Don’t play here, overbooked to the maximum. Tee time at 4:20 teed off at 4:45. 5:25 and we were on hole 3. That put us on pace to finish around 8 if we are lucky. The “ranger” should maybe be called the “shader” because he is unable to do his job and would rather stand in the shade. There are nicer mini golf courses than this waste of land. There is a downed tree on the middle of hole 4. Nice guy, Neil, in the office.

It's... ok. Staff was reasonable and polite. Nice little tree-lined course with reasonable fairways. Pace of play is just bad here, however. If you're a foursome of college kids cracking beers and having a good time, you'll be fine. If you want to have a steady pace, spend a few extra bucks and go to Windsor or Chickasaw. Booked an early afternoon tee time on a Friday for a cool $31. It seems like every Clemson student had the same idea. So with nothing but 4-somes and 8-minute tee time windows it's simply miserable to play. Spent close to three hours on the front nine and just gave up and w…

The lady that is the manager cut in front of us and was playing with 5 people when we were only 3. They held us up the whole front 9. On hole 7 I was slightly in the woods, the “assistant manager” was with her in front of us and told us to get out the woods and was very disrespectful. At the turn she waited for us and was very rude to us and told us to read the rules.(didn't say anything about not being in woods) but they did have a rule about letting faster groups play through which she did not. The rest of the staff was friendly and the course was in good shape. Wasn't a big fan of the layou…

Well kept golf course and fairly priced - pretty challenging too, with some narrow fairways

I have been playing at this course since 2020. There have been a lot of great changes to the course since that time in the maintenance of the course. That being said, most of my recent times playing here we have had to wait on people in front of us leading to an extremely slow pace of play (about 2.5 hours for 9 holes). It seems that tee times are too closely placed together and lack of enforcement for the recommended pace of play. Which is a shame, because it is a beautiful course and I otherwise enjoy the experience but having that slow of a pace takes away from the experience.

We have been playing this course once a week for about 1 year. The course is well maintained and challenging. Sadly, it will be a while before we return. It took us over 5.5 hours to play 18 holes Friday morning. There was no starter ensuring tee times started on time and the ranger was no where to be found. There were multiple groups (including our group) that complained about the slow pace to the clubhouse. Needless to say, nothing was done to speed up the play. In seems the ranger wants to sit in the A/C instead of monitoring the golf course.

The worst course I’ve ever played DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY the lady who owns this place is a nightmare extremely rude. They were playing with 6 people and would not let me play through. Terrible customer service fairways are mediocre at best only decent things are the greens which are not great do not come to this place.

Really love playing at this golf course. It's not very difficult, and is well-maintained. For the price, it's a great place to play!
