In summary

Deer Ridge Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic setting, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, often including complimentary meals. Many visitors note improvements under new management, particularly in the greens and overall course conditions. However, some golfers express concerns about maintenance issues, such as patchy fairways, muddy bunkers, and overgrown roughs, indicating that while progress is evident, further enhancements are needed.

I’d love to give this course five stars, but it’s not there yet. It’s made a huge improvement since last summer, but there’s still some work that needs to be done. A few of the greens were freshly laid sod, and the tee boxes were sandy and lopsided. That said, for the price, you really can’t beat it, and they now include lunch if you choose! I will definitely play here again.

Haven't played here for a while because the greens were in such poor shape but I'm pleased to say that the greens overall were much improved! What I was surprised to see though is that they've returned the course to its ORIGINAL LAYOUT! Now, just pay more attention to the traps and overall maintenance, cut down the rough a bit, especially if your ball crosses the cart paths because it's almost impossible to find your ball! And they still have the lunch special but fries are extra and no free beer anymore but overall, I'll come back to see if they continue to bring this course back to what it u…

I’ve played this course off and on for 15 years and this is by far the worst it’s ever been. The greens were mid, the fairways were patchy and the rough is just weeds. The San traps are just mud. I wouldn’t spend any money here no matter how much free food or beer they give you.

Hidden gem of a course. I thought it was bad because of the reviews but i tried anyway. Pro shop is actually friendly. Free breakfast or lunch for your round. No driving range but they have nets. At least have a chipping and putting green. Maybe do it since the 9 hole course is closed. Anyway, course is tough if you hate water 😅. Greens are decent, bunkers are muddy though but i played in the rain. Not bad actually. I wish there are more markers on wheres the next teebox so people dont get lost. Hoping for more improvements soon.

Not sure what others are looking at here but this course is an absolute mess. Greens were mostly mud and sand with only streaks of grass. Essentially unputtable. Its plug and sand season but they didnt even bother to plug the greens, just put sand over the mud. Fairways were mowed but the rough looked like it hadnt seen a mower in a month. Water features have been left to rot away, fill with mud and the fountains and waterfalls no longer work. Definitely would not recommend and I wont be back. This use to be great track to play but rerout of the course, shorten holes and terrible conditions ar…

I’ll admit, after my first visit a couple of years ago, I had no desire to come back. Friend of mine suggested it and I looked at the most recent reviews about the new management really trying to fix the place so I gave it a shot. Course looks great, especially for 40 bucks + a complementary beer/soda. Some over watered spots but that’s too be expected. Occasional crab grass here and there. Greens a little soft from watering and pitch marks unrepaired (no fault of the maintenance guys). Bunkers could be better but overall, course was totally fine. New management really seems to be trying to tu…

If you're from local, this might be a good course to spend your weekend somehow, but if you're not, then ........ Interestingly, you'll need to drive your cart across the main road, right after Hole 1. And guess what, this is probably the most frequent that I have to cross the streets either in their neighborhood or not, more than 10 times, quite an interesting layout 😁 Except Hole 5, Back 9 is much better course comparing to Front 9.

I visited to enjoy some Korean cuisine and was pleased with the great view of the golf course. The atmosphere was delightful, and the customer service was commendable. The selection of banchan was impressive. We ordered japchae and spicy pork bulgogi, both of which were flavorful and authentically prepared. However, I did find the noodles to be a bit mushy and the pork slightly overcooked, although my husband believed the dish was satisfactory.

Seems like the new owner is really trying to get the course back into shape. Still work to do but I was pleased to see the place shaping up!

Wow, this golf course is a real gem! It’s tucked into some awesome nature, which makes playing here a treat for the eyes. The people running the place are super cool too - the staff and the owner are total sweethearts. They made everything a breeze, so I could just focus on having a great time. Recommend.
