Helped out with an event here, unfortunately the AC was out in the main space so it was very hot. But surprisingly everyone acclimated throughout the night, fans helped a lot but it was ok. The cocktail hour room was well air conditioned and the bridal suite room was convenient but still hot. It was too hot to take pics outside so we took pics up front. The servers were great and the food was pretty good. The children’s plate of mac and cheese and chicken fingers were really good. Their brisket was so tender, the salads and options of food were really good! The driving range always seemed to b…

I found my new go-to place. This golf course is laid out like a country club, with no streets running through it and not much OB. Fairways were well tended. Greens were well cared for and consistent, and they have a great uphill driving range. I was walking but a lot of people take carts. Pretty slow play on the back nine, but maybe that’s because I like to play on Sunday afternoon.

We had our wedding at Boundary Oak in May 2024, and I can’t say enough great things about our experience—especially working with Angelique. From our very first tour her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were top tier. We toured seven venues before choosing Boundary Oak, and it was the combination of stunning grounds and exceptional customer service that sealed the deal for us. Our initial food tasting was decent—typical wedding food—but a new head chef joined about six months before our wedding. The improvement was noticeable and really elevated our reception meal. Our guests r…

I would say Boundary Oak is one of the most underrated courses, period. Not much interesting design, but the layout and condition is really all A class, overall, I like Hole ⛳ 9 the most, your 2nd shot is facing a 25ft uphill, and there's a little artificial river in front of the green, very elegant touch of the view. The most challenging thing here is the greens, fast and furious, once you putt too hard the green will bring your ball long long way.

A very nice course next to the Lime Ridge open area. The greens and fairways are well maintained. There are currently improvements bring made to the driving range area so the whole range is unavailable until the beginning of 2025.

Course is in pretty good shape. Usually the fairways are still bad in numerous places. They spent a few million dollars redoing the driving range and practice facilities but ended without improving the marginal chipping area and inexplicitly ended up with no practice sand trap.

Course was in pretty nice shape. A couple of the greens could use some work (but by this time of the year that's pretty common. My issue was with the cart and the customer service. We rented a cart, and when I stuck my phone in the phone holder it came out covered in ketchup. Apparently whoever had it before us just threw their partially used open ketchup packet in the phone holder slot. I was fairly annoyed so after the round I went to talk to the pro shop and this is where it really went from annoyed to angry. He said, yeah that happens sometimes, that's why I always stick my phone in upside…

Truly remarkable public golf course to match a remarkable town of walnut Creek! Tab house has great food to match the great course. Tee box flat and manicured like those high end $100+ courses, oak trees dot the landscape a visual treat. Good practice facility to warm up so come early. The track is forgiving yet protected by large greens and bunkers around them. You can go low here!

It was a pretty rainy day. But the course was pretty playable given the wet conditions. Challenging but true greens. Rough and fairway were pretty "furry" as I'm sure it's tough to mow given the recent rains.

This was a phenomenal spot - start to finish - I couldn't ask for better - reasonable pricing, great coordination, flexible about decor, wonderful staff, good food and it is gorgeous!!! Do not hesitate to book here. Lilly and Melissa were fantastic and helped me the whole way through - the day was perfect.

I grew up playing Boundary Oak as a kid. It’s always been a great place to practice and play. The driving range is fine and the short game areas are solid. The course is in good condition overall, especially with how much play courses are getting these days. Depending on the day of the week you can expect pace of play to be average to long. The greens are challenging both with reading the break and their quick speeds. The staff have always been very friendly in the pro shop. I haven’t had a chance to try out the new restaurant/alehouse yet, but it looks nice. Overall, it’s a solid but challeng…
