Contra Costa County Bar annual luncheon and continuing education. Food was very good. Service was excellent. It’s an amazing group of colleagues and great people in the community. This event has been held here for many years and is never disappointing. Sorry, no photos

I played the course with a couple of members a number of weeks ago. The course played great. I liked that there was a nice mix of long and short holes, some holes with tight off the tee, but if you did manage to find the trees, its likely that there is some chance to move the ball forward. I just met the golf staff in the pro shop as I was waiting for my friends to arrive. I must say, that the group working in the shop we awesome and super friendly. Certainly the golf course is worthy a winner and golfing was easily enjoyed. Lovely golf!

Go early, practice putting, their greens are very challenging. Not a super long course, yet super strategy is required on almost all the holes. Very pretty place to visit too. #10 pictured.

Tough layout. Tiered green with a lot of slope. Same for fairways. Great condition.

First off, private club, sorry. Still warrants a review. Pool, CLEAN. Snack bar, well stocked with a limited bar. Food service from dining room means your favorites are available. Towel service if you forget yours. Lap swimming for serious types too.

- best fairways I’ve seen since I played Augusta in ‘08 - greens are slippery (I fell twice trying to walk off #3) - only downside is that you have to pay if you break a little tiny window - #5 is a poor man’s Pebble; I doubled - if you can’t reach in 2 on #9, just dont waste your time playing the back nine - wonderful staff; pros and instructors are pristine - don’t be afraid to play the children’s tee (get that handicap down, big guy! :) - try to stay in the fairways (I play my wedges off the tee) - don’t forget 60 degree Tuesday on the driving range (they don’t let you hit anything lower on…

Top notch private club. Course is recently renovated and upgraded by Robert Trent Jones III. Rolling hills parkland course with demanding greens makes under par scores challenging while still enjoyable for high handicappers. Course rating and slope are deceptive as water hazards are limited on this irrigation efficient and water re-use environmentally friendly facility.

Solid spot. Members think they are rich but they forget the course is in pleasant hill not blackhawk or alamo.
