In summary

Desert Aire Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, making it an ideal spot for beginners and families. The course is generally well-maintained with fast greens and offers an affordable golfing experience, though some visitors have noted issues with the course condition and the conduct of the Marshall. Additionally, there are occasional complaints about service speed and inflexibility regarding equipment policies.

This place is really cool the staff is kind and patient it was our first time playing golf and they gave us tips and guide us through the first two holes thanks to everyone and specially to Wendy and her coworker that I didn't get her name.

One of my favorite places to golf. Not an incredibly difficult course but the greens here are always well maintained and rate of play is usually great. Does get pretty busy on the weekends

THEY REMOVE GOOGLE REVIEWS. Course is in absolutely terrible condition, especially with Rancho so close by. Pro shop staff is great, but the Marshall decides who she feels like the problem is and follows them along with rude comments and tries to get you off the course 40 minutes before close because she wants to go home. There’s another review on here echoing the same sentiment and my earlier review was removed. If you’re a casual golfer, go to Rancho they’re much friendlier and accommodating at all hours. If you’re a more serious golfer, go to Rancho because this place is in terrible conditi…

A cool lil 9 hole course. Offers challenges in the wind. Green are pretty slow, but I kind of like the course and the starter was way cool. The Marshall however was kind of rude!

Love this place perfect place to learn all the staff is nice sometimes you get stuck behind a large group who think they are pros and take way to long but that's at every course otherwise it's very nice and for the most part the rest of the players are as well thanks to the staff for making it enjoyable to play

A family friendly golf course. We moved to Palmdale in '88. I have been playing golf at Desert Aire, since day one. Playing a lot more since retirement in 2011. Their staff is so friendly and welcoming. Spring though Fall , the best time to golf, playing on beautiful green fairways and well maintained greens makes playing golf what it's supposed to be. Enjoyable. Fall to Spring is dormant, but hey, the course is open and welcoming. Fellow golfers are like family, which is a major plus. A well stocked Pro Shop, food and drink and Driving Range. One major plus, the price is right for all of Dese…

Kinda over priced for what you get. Most holes have a gap of 40-90 yards of dirt, sand, and gravel. So you better have a good shot and hit somewhere soft to avoid destroying a club.

Perfect beginner’s course! Very forgiving, and unlimited golf any day for <$150/month. Top stuff. Recommend using pink/red balls here, hard to see otherwise. Also, for those who walk, it’s about 8000 steps for the 9 hole round.

2 STARS BECAUSE I USE TO LOVE THIS COURSE BUT TODAY WAS HORRIBLE I PAID WELL OVER $100 and it was NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! THE MARSHAL OLDER LADY WAS HARASSING US THE WHOLE TIME ! HER MAIN FOCUS WAS ON US HISPANICS… THERE WAS OTHER PEOPLE ALSO PLAYING AROUND THE SAME TIME BUT SHE SURE LOVED TO COME MESS UP OUR GAME TO TELL US TO HURRY UP! WHICH KEEP IN MIND THE GROUP BEHIND US DID NOT MIND US AT ALL. I OFFERED THEM TO GO IN FRONT OF US AND THEY DID NOT WANT TO… IT WAS 6:30 and she said “you need to HURRY AND TAKE THE CART BACK”. BUT WENT AHEAD AND JUST TOLD US AND NONONE ELSE …. AND BASICALLY WENT…

Booked a Tee time online Wednesday morning for Friday after Thanksgiving for my son, myself, my dad that’s in from out of town, and his wife for an 18 hole. Meanwhile the only lady checking people in at the counter of a packed pro shop made us 8 minutes late for our tee time. She then turned us away and said no late check ins. We were late waiting on her to check people out. Maybe if this place had a faster system or more people checking customers out we wouldn’t have been late to begin with. I golf here regularly and am giving a 1 star for their un readiness and understanding that if they can…
