Desert Canyon Golf Club

My husband and I played a round at Desert Canyon when we came for a trip in March 2026. Weather was perfect and the course was great - Very well-kept kept, well watered, and in great condition. I didn't find the overall course to be too difficult, except the greens. Expect to add a few strokes from the greens. We also had brunch at the restaurant there, and the food, drinks, and service was great. The starters at the tee box & pro shop were also very friendly. This course is incredible. Played 2 rounds in a day at the end of January and was extremely impressed. Course was in excellent condition. The greens were insanely fast and showed us who is boss. Views are amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Great course. Price was a bit steep for my taste but Mark and Kevin, the best cart guys I have ever met, made up for it.

Honestly, really amazing course. Super friendly pro shop staff. But the reason I’m leaving 2 stars is solely because of the ranger/starter - his name was Bob. We were the first tee time and never held up the second group behind us. But Bob came to us multiple times during the front nine telling us that we were behind pace of play. First time, we were like OK maybe we’re playing a little slow. But he came back to us at hole 9 on our approach shot - and told us that we were most likely going to have to skip a hole on the back nine. Really enjoyed my experience at Desert Canyon Golf Club. Today was my first day playing the course after joining as a member and I was very impressed. Course was well kept and the staff and starter were super friendly. There were some great views and sight lines during my round which made it very enjoyable and peaceful. Definitely would recommend to anyone thinking of playing there. Can't wait to play the course regularly.

Fabolous elevated views of Foundation Hills and the entrees surprised us, everything was very good. Very relaxing and enjoyable!

One of the best course i played in Fountain hills, worth of money spent, experience, staffing friendly, and tacos!! 110% recommend for anyone to golfing there!!

The scenery at this golf course is stunning every where you look. It makes a lovely setting for lunch inside or outside on the balcony overlooking the course. I ordered the veggie street tacos. The colors and texture were a perfect mix of crispy and rich. Very satisfying and great for a light lunch.

You could not pay me to go back to this course. The rangers at this place went out of their way to be rude and not accommodating. Our group of 6 were harassed by the rangers for an hour before we even teed off about not sharing clubs when one in our group was just riding along. Trying to get us to rent clubs for a guy that wasn’t even playing. This is by far the worst experience I have had at a golf course or any place of business for that fact. Very expensive for a mediocre course. A lot better options for golf in Phoenix for a lot cheaper and better course.

I absolutely love this golf course. The staff here is incredible and the layout is unforgettable. Don't hit driver on No. 1. Some amazing views and the back 9 has some tough holes. Not the longest layout in Fountain Hills, but a course that I would love to play over and over again. Good stuff here at Desert Canyon. FORE!

My friends and I played here the Saturday morning of the WMPO. This course is fantastic and in immaculate condition. I can't wait to return; great job DCGC team.
