SunRidge Canyon Golf Club

So many mixed reviews about this course. Here’s an honest review. Staff is great. Facilities are very nice. Course is fun and challenging. Loved the up and down and views. The only real issue with the course are the greens. I would say that about 6 or 8 of the greens were a real mixed bag. A few looked like a patchwork quilt. All of them were pretty difficult to read and the rougher ones do not roll well. Hard to really score here given such unpredictable conditions. The greens aside, I really enjoyed my round. It's a very interesting, and somewhat unique track. Wicked 6 was true to it's name, especially if youre playing from distance. Loved #17 par 3, hitting over the crevasse to the green! Speaking of greens, they were a bit banged up in places. Costs this course a star IMO. Hot dog at the turn was delicious. Staff was friendly and on-task. I recommend SunRidge Canyon, especially if you can get on below rack rate pricing.

SunRidge Canyon Golf Club was fantastic to work with for our charity golf tournament. The entire team was professional, organized, and a pleasure to work with, and our golfers had an amazing experience from start to finish. The course itself was in incredible condition and received endless compliments all day. Kris and Greg’s attention to detail made the planning seamless and the event our best one yet. We received nothing but great feedback and are already hoping to return next year. Highly recommend SunRidge Canyon for any tournament or special event.

Course layout is challenging and very scenic. Wicked 6 is fun to play. A few greens have some patches but nothing that influenced the game. Fairways and rough were perfect. Would play again.

SunRidge and The Wicked 6 are challenging, scenic and memorable! Each hole has its ups and down…literally! There are tons of elevation changes, doglegs and deadly fast greens. Seriously, beware the downhill putts as they will run run run! Be on the lookout for wildlife. Rattlers, bobcats and coyotes roam freely. Otherwise simply just enjoy! Curvy cart paths, boulders, mountains, saguaro, cholla, everything about this course oozes with the Arizona aspects that we have all come to love. Go. Golf. Go again! Bit pricey…but you get what you pay for folks!

Tight fairways and rolling greens make this more of a challenging course. Front 9 you play down hill and back 9 is uphill and more wind comes into play. I thought back 9 was more challenging because of the dry waterways and rock ledges. Bunkers are cut with steep face. All in all, gives you the experience of a desert course, just be mindful of the rattlesnakes.

--WoW--a tough round ... for MY skill level. Each hole seems to have "A hard challenge"....and the last 6 > Super uniquely hard ! Grass was in good shape. If my drives "go off fairway" - kiss my ball goodbye! The driving range was nice... on-course baths / cold ice & water good ... the restaurant food & waitress services > excellent. Nice bathroom, too.

I finally returned to Sunridge after playing it four years ago. I have to say I was not pleased. The layout is good, the challenge is decent, but the greens were atrocious. Worst greens I’ve played in the Valley these past four months (20 diff courses). No idea how they can legitimately charge those high prices and leave the greens in such poor shape. Sadly won’t be back until I hear they are back up to par.

Greens were junk. Can't believe they charge almost $300 for this round. The course layout was good and had great views, but once you hit the greens it was over. There were lots of dead spots all over, the parts that had grass were a mixed bag on if they would roll out or be velcro and stop. I would say its not worth the money and go somewhere else. Brat at the turn was solid so that got the extra star.

The greens were mostly dirt. The conditions were incredibly poor give the premium price tag. Spend your money somewhere else. This course is treated like a nice municipal course. Should be $75 to play. Starters weren’t very friendly either. It’s a shame because it could have been a nice court

Great track. Greens are fast and hold very well. They are like walking on a sponge, downside is you can see old foot prints. Does effect putting. The greens are painted as well. The rest of the course is in great shape. 90 degree cart rule when i was there. Staff was nice.

Such a lovely, upscale setting with large picture windows, makes dining inside or outside a pleasure. I ordered the Hawaiian breakfast, which is on the All Day menu. Back by popular demand, I can see why. The flavors and texture were very pleasing. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to my needs. The separate dining room would be a great place to hold a small meeting or a special gathering for a meal. There are plenty of heaters outside if you’re going to sit on the deck as well as around the fire pit. There are lots of chairs to be comfortable.
